"Did not contact them as I hired another company for the job."

"I purchased an deal for $99 for 2 hours of labor.  Originally I intended to apply the time toward replacement of a shower faucet, but the same week, three gate valves in my basement began to fail.  Lew was very responsive and able to accommodate my schedule, and replaced all three valves with ball valves as well as the piping in the area.  I purchased an additional $150 worth of parts from Lew which are warrantied for a year.
What I appreciated most was Lew's evaluation of the shower faucet, which he looked at while he was at my house.  He pointed out that the faucet that I had purchased would not meet my long-term needs and made recommendations so that I could purchase (on my own) a model that would be better for me.  He also gave a very rough quote for the labor that would be required.  Lew could have just installed the faucet I purchased and waited until it failed in another year and installed another one and made twice as much money, but he didn't.  I'll certainly have him back again.

"Marino's has always been incredibly responsive and customer satisfaction oriented.  The workers are very nice to deal with and they know what they're doing.  I've had many emergency water outages and a couple of basement floods caused by rain, and the Marino's folks are always there to help whether it's Sunday night or some other odd time.  I've never had to wait when I've had an emergency.  I highly recommend them.

"I received three estimates for my masonry project, and chose MAS as the best bidder. I was glad that I did. Marcos and his crew worked meticulously and expertly to provide us with a wonderful result. Everything was done in a professional manner. My wife and I could not be more pleased. We intend on hiring MAS for any other improvement project. Thank you, Marcos. It looks beautiful."

"We had some water coming into our basement on rainy days. We attempted to fix the issue ourselves and quickly realized we were in over our heads. At this point we were tired of our stuff getting damaged, and cleaning up the watery mess. We called some contractors and received various quotes. We then turned to Angie's list in hopes of finding someone qualified at a much more reasonable price. We found Mr. Black Contracting and setup a time for him to check out our basement. He showed up on time, was very knowledgeable and was able to spot the problem even before we pointed it out to him. This surprised us as no other contractor was able to do that. We accepted his proposal and the work was completed quickly, efficiently and at a fair price. We work from home and are frequently on conference calls, so we were a bit worried about the repair noise being overwhelming. To our surprise the noise was kept to a minimum, and we were able to work with no interruptions. He was very clean and gave us many different options to stop the water from coming in. I will use them in the future and recommend them to anyone that needs repairs done."

"The painter did not retape but went over the section with paint. The ceiling looked great, the walls meh there were a couple nail holes and one empty nail that were painted over not repaired as per the deal. I was left a message that the quality of my paint was the issue. That may be partly true but painting over instead of doing repairs which were to be included in the deal was not ok. The ceiling was painted free since the painter didn't like how it looked. I guess it was worth the price but I think I could have done the same thing myself.

"the initial digging, installing drainage and grading went very quickly and done with expert professionalism. The final portion of the work, laying gravel and asphalt, the raking, rolling, grading and paving went smoothly and expeditiously with no errors or problems to complete the job. Crew were friendly, polite, very careful working on our property, cleaning up after themselves and extremely hard-working Price was very reasonable for all the work involved."

"They are very good. They are very helpful and answered my questions."
