"The experience we had collaborating with Jeremy and the Sensible Home Products (SHP) team was outstanding and one beyond anything we could have imagined. In fact, we have never had a better experience with any contractor or company, of any type, than what we had with SHP. Jeremy demonstrated a level of trust that gave us comfort that the needed improvements made to our 90-year-old home, were appropriate and that the house would be safe, secure, and visually pleasing for future generations. This trust emerged from the initial quote that described the specific steps SHP would follow, to leaving the work area, every day, as spotless as when the team showed up, to traveling to the Boston area for a door that was not available at a store in Connecticut, to creatively and thoughtfully solving the issues and challenges the house threw at SHP, to taking every requested addition to the project with a can do attitude. I can attest, based on other projects we have taken on, this project would have taken much longer than the five short weeks (including Christmas and below freezing temperatures) this took. The quality of their work was remarkable and the pride in their workmanship was always evident. The extra touches he included in the project and the counsel he provided gave us 100% confidence that he would do what was right and that he, and SHP, would go above and beyond. "Please see attached image for details Brian and ABS bring top notch customer service, consultation and knowledge to roofing, building and remodeling. They are timely, communicative and ensure that we as homeowners know all angles of a job. Top level craftsmanship and attention to detail they provide an incredible end project. They replaced our roof which is a steep tricky roof and were able to get it done in one day. Where our first floor roof meets the siding we had some rot on some siding along the roof edge. Brian looked closer and said half the roofline needed to be cut out. Instead of just replacing the bad siding, Brian cut out a line across the entire edge so that it would look uniform. He fixed and replaced the flashing and covered it with plastic wood. He recommended this for aesthetics and to help prevent any further degradation. Adding an additional unforeseen cost, we feel that the cost was competitive and fair for the amount of time, material and attention to detail. "
