It took some time to get the job scheduled, but they showed up as promised and did a good job of installing the new openers.

There has been no contact from Doug's but someone had my money. When we called secretary said that Angie's was at fault?? Not sure who is lying.

People were professional, new their job, did excellent work in a timely manner and were quick to respond to my needs.

Totally satisfied with Douglas.  They were professional, arrived within two days and at the scheduled time, did quality work and were reasonably fast.  Fast enough to do a good job but didn't rush to finish.  The installers were friendly and courteous and very knowledgeable.  I wish all venders were as accommodating.

Great - once they were able to get on your website and find my transaction - after that they couldn't have been nicer. Withing 3 days of confirming my purchase they had an installer at my house who was profssional and courteous. I would and am recommending them wholeheartedly.

Ernie came to our home and gave us an estimate for the work to be performed.  He was prompt and courteous, and arrived when he said he would.  Once we decided to have Douglas do the work for us, he ordered the doors and said we'd have them installed in the next 2-3 weeks.
2 1/2 weeks later we received a call for the workmen to come the next day to install the doors.  The men showed up exactly when they said they would, worked solidly all day, did the work as promised and cleaned up when they were finished.  They were cheerful, polite, and most importantly, did a great job!  The doors run quietly, smoothly, and we couldn't be more pleased!

As instructed I set aside a two hour block of time to wait for the service call. The technician called near the end of that block to say he was running late due to emergencies. He finally showed up an hour and a half later with a surly attitude. In the end, he gave me a break on the price and the work was done properly, including some additional work that was not scheduled

Very promptly contacted and installer arrived, only to point out that there was no outlet in proper code-mandated place. So we agreed that after my electrician installed the requisite outlet, installer would return. a week later, after my electrician did his work, I re-contacted Douglas and within 36 hours the installer arrived in the appointed time window and effected a professional installation. A very smooth and professional job was done.

Initial installation went great.  After a few months, we called them back because the systems was making a lot of noise when opening and closing the garage door.  They came back to make some adjustments.  The technician gave some sort of explanation as to why I was not being charged for a service visit.  But after a month or so, the same racketing noise came back.  I have not called them back because I was told the next time I would be charged for a service visit.

The service was fast, reasonable, the door works fine.   The only problem was that when we paid through Angie's they also charged us at the time of service (my father was here when they came, not me).   So we paid twice.   It took us over a month to get it all straightened out.   Other than that, they were great.

Hired Douglas Garage Door to get my lower garage door panel
replaced. I was quoted 2 hours of labor for the job that takes 30 minutes.
After job completion I asked technician why should I pay 2 hours of labor when
it took 30 minutes and technician asked me to contact the office. I contacted the
business and before my concerns were addressed, they charged my credit card
without my authorization for the entire balance. After couple of attempts they agreed
to refund half of the money back but never actually credited back. I tried for
almost a month and finally had to open a dispute with my credit card company. Luckily,
I have written documentation so I am confident I'll get my money back.

 I found this business quite unethical and their goal is to extract as much money as they can. If you decide
to hire them, my advice would be take written quotes, keep a close eye on actual labor
time spent. These guys charge 105 bucks for service call and 30 minutes of labor is included
in service call.

I have used Douglas in the past for both installations and repairs, and was very happy with there service. I called them when my recently installed garage door broke and would no longer operate. They came out quickly , identified the problem and gave me a estimate to have it fixed the next day. The repair was done and surprisingly the bill was less that the estimate.

Very fast service. I called on Monday and they were here on Wednesday. They recommended I replace my old (nearly 15 years) system, and were back Friday morning to install it. I worked with AJ. He was very professional and helpful... and my new opener is quiet. I may replace the one in the second bay!

Douglas rep came out to see what was wrong with my opener.  I figured I needed a new one but the rep fixed the old one in under 30 minutes.  I was completely impressed with them from the moment I called until the rep left.  He told me why it worked "odd" ... my mistake for not understanding all it does.  Tuned up eye, etc and it works great now.  Completely happy with service!

The door wouldn't open so they came out and repaired it. They did good and I was happy with their work.
