"My experience with Matt was great. He was very professional, neat, and explained everything. He mounted my Starlink receiver and adjusted it as needed. He also made sure all my devices were connected. I was very happy with Matt and would rehire him as well as recommend him."

"Roger spent eight hours in high humidity installing a TV antenna on our roof. He tested the signal strength, added an amplifier, and checked it again to ensure we got the maximum number of stations. He explained what he was doing all along the way, and cleaned up after himself."

"Allied did a great job in installing an old school antenna on the side of our ranch house. We had cables run to all three bedrooms and the family room. We get 32 channels for our TV s. This installation was very reasonably priced and we have saved a lot of money by not getting cable. Would highly recommend Allied for a job."

TV Antenna questions, answered by experts

Signal loss, loose mounts, cable damage, and weather-related wear often require repair.

If you’re having problems with poor reception, here are some simple tips that may help improve the signal and picture quality.

  • Consider the position of the antenna: Could it be higher, is it secure, or are nearby obstructions interfering with the signal? For a directional antenna, you may need to reposition it in the direction of the broadcast tower.

  • Move any metallic objects: Metal can interfere or block reception, so if you have stainless steel objects or the antenna is near a wrought-iron fence, this could be a problem. Try to keep the antenna at least six feet away from metal objects..

  • Cable length: An overly long cable can reduce signal strength. If you don’t need as much cable as you are using, it may be better to exchange it for a shorter one.

The easiest way to ensure you get the best reception from your TV antenna is to leave the installation to a professional. You’ll pay around $300 for this service, but the expert will use signal checkers to find the ideal placement for your antenna on your roof. They can also determine the right direction for your antenna to face. If your existing antennas are delivering a poor-quality picture, it might help to invest in a TV antenna signal booster, which picks up more signals and could provide a better experience.

Yes, professionals re-mount and realign antennas for optimal signal reception.

Costs depend on antenna type, labor, replacement parts, and necessary realignment.
