Welcome to BullsEye Plumbing Heating & Air in business since 2004, with over 15 years combined experience is the answer to all your plumbing needs. Lowest price guaranteed!! A+ rated business with BBB! 2011 Best of Colorado Springs in Home Services & Repair Contractors (USCA).

"Tech arrived within time window as promised. After evaluating the issue he said it’s not a huge concern and would be a very complex and expensive project to fix. We took their advice and are just leaving it alone, but we aren’t super confident about it and pray it doesn’t lead to even bigger problems in the future (fingers crossed!). So no work was done, but we still had to pay the $70 trip fee…oh well."

Heart Heating, Cooling, Plumbing & Electric: your one-stop shop for all of your home systems’ needs. We aim to meet and exceed your expectations at every turn. While we may not be the biggest plumbing, electrical, or HVAC company in Denver, we are certainly large enough to meet your home service needs. Our local veteran-owned company has an extensive roster of highly trained HVAC, plumbing, and electrical professionals that will deliver quality repairs on every project. Our unique Lifetime Warranty on Parts and Labor set us apart from our competition. Over 1,000 5-Star reviews on Google.

"He did a good job. But of course he didn’t do the estimate. That was done by Cory. A typical hourly rate for electrical work is $150 per hour and $200 even for emergency services. This wasn’t an emergency but even if we use that rate I should get a refund of $800."

Drain Pipe Installation questions, answered by experts

White vinegar or baking soda can remove the crusty white deposits that minerals leave behind. A paper towel soaked in vinegar and wrapped around your faucet can effectively dissolve scale, but can be corrosive to some materials like brushed nickel if left on too long. For materials that can’t withstand vinegar, a paste of baking soda and water applied with a toothbrush can gently scrub away scale deposits.

A two-way cleanout can help if there’s already a clog, but the best strategy to prevent one is by not rinsing grease, oil, or fat down your drains, not flushing or rinsing coffee grounds or egg shells down your drains, flushing only human waste and toilet paper (so no diapers, period products, bathroom wipes, or paper towels), and using drain guards on all of your drains.

Vinegar is better for an AC drain line because it’s less corrosive and won’t damage the pipes. It’s also a safer and easier product to use. Bleach should not be used on your AC drain line because it can corrode your pipes and harm the evaporator coil in your air conditioner.

You can use normal solder, which consists of a tin and copper alloy, on copper pipes. You should avoid using leaded solder, especially if you're soldering together water supply lines, as it will contaminate drinking water. One way to test if your copper pipes contain lead is to scrape off the solder. If the scraped area is shiny, it likely contains lead.

Installing a clawfoot tub with a minimum of 6 inches of clearance from surrounding walls allows ample room for the faucet and pipework, makes cleaning easier, and reduces the chance of moisture being trapped between the tub and the walls. It might need to be closer if the faucet comes directly out of the wall.
