Maintenance 101 Plumbing

Great. He gave me a rough estimate over the phone if it was a standard repair and scheduled immediately for 2 days out. I called around to see if I could get someone sooner and no one could do it even with emergency fees and most charged a trip fee to even come do an estimate and not applied towards the work. I called back to confirm my appointment. He finished a job early and called to see if he could come a day earlier and took care of the pipe. He was straight forward with the information and costs and parts and charged a fair price with no extra fees or nonsense. I appreciated his work and promptness and consideration. I would definitely use him again!

Michael saved us from a plumbing emergency due to a frozen burst pipe that was causing water damage. Several other companies could not even both to respond or were unavailable. Michael, conversely, impressed us by communicating in a timely and professional manner and showing up same day. Even getting a flat tire and the snowy road did not stop him! Plus, he did an excellent job problem solving our situation. Intelligent, experienced, reasonable pricing. Thank you, Michael! We will call him next time we have any plumbing issues.

Michael was great! We will definitely use him again. He came out a couple hours after we called him on a Saturday morning. He fixed our faucet after getting a new countertop the day before and waking up to water all over our floor. What a relief!

He came and fixed it properly. Will hire again.

Mike saw that the cold supply had a ***** in it and replaced it with an extender which was all that was needed. he called when he was on his way and was able to finish the work in less than a half hour. He charged for the service charge and $5.00 for the part. Very reasonable and I will call him again for any other plumbing problems that I might have.

Mike was very professional. He replace 2 valves for my washing machine in less than an hour. He obviously knew what he was doing. He charged me a third of what another plumber quoted me to rebuild the valves. Was extremely satisfied and highly recommend.

Excellent. They were early. They called and let me know they were on the way, they did a fast, beautiful job, and cleaned up when they were done. Professional, fast, and easy. I would recommend them and use them again.

Within maybe half an hour of arriving, Mike got rid of the clog, and just to make sure it stayed gone, the tub was snaked an additional three times. The price was very reasonable.

Michael did a fabulous job. Dismantling the mess I made playing plumber, and fixing it right. He was fast, friendly, and very good. He offered to come late so we could have water back the same day - and no additional charge for coming at the end of the day (after 5pm). Definitely would recommend and will refer to friends!

All the projects went very well, no complaints. Very happy with the results. The leaking commode was leaking from tank screws; fixed by replacing screws/washers/gaskets on tank. Garbage disposal was replaced with a new one, and appropriately so. Previous sump pump plumbing was the incorrect type of PVC pipe and moved every time the sump pump worked to drain water to outside of house; made the sump pump plumbing leak and come apart easily. New sump pump plumbing corrected those problems and drained to outside of the house and away from foundation all to code and a check valve was installed. Previous sprinkler system plumbing was the incorrect type of plumbing and was lying on top of concrete patio, exposed to all the elements. New sprinkler system plumbing was replaced with copper pipe and raised off the ground and attached to outside of house and is not noticeable to the eye, but is easily accessible. Non-working electrical outlets fixed. Problem found was loose wiring. Maintenance 101 is quick to respond to my phone calls for needed service. Owner Michael Conklin comes out in a timely manner and shows up when he says he is going to show up. Work is completed efficiently and Michael is very knowledgeable and professional. He enjoys his work and works hard to make it cost effective for the customer. I don't worry that I am being given quotes on needlessly inflated prices for the actual work needed to do the job, parts, or labor. Michael is fair and customer friendly. I wish more contractors were as pleasant to do business with as Maintenance 101 Plumbing. He also has given me several referrals for other companies for other types of work I've needed done. He is a great resource in that regard as well. I will continue to call this company for any future plumbing and other work that is in the purview of their specialty. I have complete confidence in Maintenance 101.

Called Michael on a Friday. He diagnosed the problem over the phone and arrived the following Monday (5 minutes earlier than scheduled... nice!). Charged the contractor's price for the PRV (I checked online... I would have paid $30 more). He obviously knew what he was doing, explained the process to me since I was curious, and replaced the PRV quickly. He honored the Angie's List coupon. Total cost was completely reasonable and worth every penny (no more hammering pipes... whew!). I would definitely recommend Michael at Maintenance 101!

It was great! He was super nice, on time, and very polite. He did a nice job and cleaned up after himself well.

I called Michael of Maintenance 101. I also called a few other plumbers but Michael was the first to return my call and within 15 minutes. I told him my problem and he suggested that I might try a few things first before he came out. I was willing to try so I did. That's the first thing that impressed me with Michael. The fact that he told me over the phone, at no charge, what to try first that might fix the problem so that I wouldn't need a plumber. I tried the fixes but the leak still persisted. So I called Michael back and he said he would try to work me in that evening, but wasn't sure and would let me know. I had 5 house guests staying, that were using that one bathroom shower so I really needed a fix fast. Michael called me back, but I missed his call, so he left a message stated he couldn't make it that night but, because of the semi-emergency, he could/would come by the next day at 9:00 am and fix the problem, he also stated I needed to call him back within the next 30 minutes with pictures because he was making a supply run and could get any parts I needed. Second thing that impressed me about Michael is the next day was a Sunday yet he had on qualms helping on Sunday morning. I called him back but it was an hour later and he had already done his supply run and the supply company was closed. I told him If he gave me a parts list I would go to Home Depot and pick up any parts he needed. He said If I would text him a few pictures of the situation he could do that. Third thing that impressed me is he immediately texted me back a parts list after I sent him a few pictures and also he didn't mind ME getting the parts needed. So we were still on for 9:00 am Sunday. Fourth positive impression of Michael: He showed up promptly at 9:00 am Sunday. In and out within a few hours of cutting and plumbing and WALA I had a perfectly running guest bathroom shower. Excellent work, timely work, and very professional. Thank you Michael, I will use him again and recommend him.

We were having problems with our kitchen plumbing. MIchael installed completely new plumbing under our sink and every thing is now working great. I have used Michael in the past and will continue to do so in the future.

Quickly fixed a toilet that was not installed correctly. The leaking toilet could have been a major problem. Michael saved the day! I estimated the repair to be $200 and Michael charged about a third of that!
