"Utilizing All Service Moving for the move was a very positive experience. They had good communication, answering several questions prior to the move and did a final confirmation just prior to the move date. As for the physical move itself, Jose, Abraham, and Alberto were polite, diligent, and careful moving the many items, and managed to complete the move more quickly than anticipated."

"Alex and Jesus from Road Runner Moving & Storage did a fantastic job. They were hardworking and very professional. They asked questions along the way to make sure everything was going as expected. Honestly, I couldn't have asked for a better moving experience, I am very glad we used Road Runner and would definitely use this crew (specifically Alex & Jesus!) again. Highly recommended."

"Perfectly. The office staff set up everything carefully, and checked in with me several times before moving day to provide me with updates and to answer my questions. My moving team, Steve and Nick, were terrific: professional, kind, respectful. Not only did I have zero damages, but these two took great care to help place things and even gave me advice on how to set up my chest freezer, and more. If I move again, I will request these men by name. I chose the company because of their online video, which shows that the owner treats his employees as the valued professional they are."

Moving questions, answered by experts

Yes: Many moving companies also offer packing services, so you can get a quote that covers the entire move from start to finish.

To treat office moving costs as capital expenses, which means recording them as assets, they must meet certain rules: they need to be essential for the business to keep running, directly related to the move, reasonable, and documented properly with invoices and contracts. These costs can include packing, transportation, and setting up the new office. Once these expenses are capitalized, they're treated like assets on the books and gradually accounted for over time through depreciation or amortization.

Depending on distance and individual scheduling needs, from a few days to a week.

The lowest-cost days to move are Monday through Thursday. Many people move on weekends for convenience, so weekdays are often more affordable for hiring movers or renting a moving truck. Ask your local moving company if they offer any discounts for certain times of the year or days of the week.

To pack mugs securely for a move, start by lining the bottom of a moving box with padded packing material like bubble wrap. Wrap each mug individually, tucking the ends of the bubble wrap inside the mug for a snug fit. For extra protection, consider using a moving box with built-in slots to keep the mugs separated.

When placing the mugs in the box, pack them tightly enough to prevent them from shifting, but not so tightly that they are under pressure. Fill any empty gaps between the mugs with additional packing material. To keep the box from becoming too heavy, it's best to pack no more than 10 mugs per box. Finally, be sure to label the box as “fragile” so movers know to handle it with care.
