"I had the best experience with All Service Moving! Mike and Stan absolutely rock - best moving team ever! They moved me into my new house from Sumner to Spanaway, then my mom a month later from Renton. They were so efficient, careful, professional and friendly. They made sure all our items were carefully wrapped and protected and they moved everything quickly, yet effortlessly - I wouldn't recommend anybody else to get you all settled into wherever your moving! Thank you guys!!"

"Brian, Pedro, and Jesus from Road Runner Moving did a great job today! I had some very heavy and expensive furniture that they carefully wrapped and moved with no damage to the furniture or either house. They were cheerful and professional. They also helped move around some additional items that were super heavy at our new house. The guys were truly great and would use them again!"

"Perfectly. The office staff set up everything carefully, and checked in with me several times before moving day to provide me with updates and to answer my questions. My moving team, Steve and Nick, were terrific: professional, kind, respectful. Not only did I have zero damages, but these two took great care to help place things and even gave me advice on how to set up my chest freezer, and more. If I move again, I will request these men by name. I chose the company because of their online video, which shows that the owner treats his employees as the valued professional they are."

"This was a quick, well move by a Prime Relocation Services. I called them with a last minute moving request and they were able to accommodate me better than anyone else I called and asked. Well deserving of 5 stars!"

Moving questions, answered by experts

To pack mugs safely for a move, start by lining the bottom of your moving box with padded material like bubble wrap. Wrap each mug individually; for a snug fit, you can tuck the ends of the bubble wrap sheet inside the mug. Place the wrapped mugs in the box, using a box with slots for extra separation if available. The key to preventing breakage is to pack the box tightly enough that the mugs cannot shift during transit. Fill any empty gaps with additional packing material. However, be careful not to pack more than 10 mugs in one box, as it can become too heavy to carry safely. Finally, be sure to label the box as “fragile” to alert movers to handle it with care.

Yes, many companies offer vehicle relocation as part of their service packages.

There are some household items movers won’t pack, while there are others that are important to keep on your person during the move. Don’t pack the following items:

  • Poisonous, hazardous, flammable, or explosive items, including some cleaners, matches, alcohol, and paint

  • Perishable food items

  • Pets and plants

  • Irreplaceable items and documents, such as your passport, will, and medical records

The best way to transport a TV is to wrap and pack it tightly in a TV moving box with plenty of padding to protect it from damage. If a box is not available, you can use moving straps and moving blankets to secure the TV in an upright position within the moving vehicle. To prevent it from shifting during transportation, place large pieces of furniture around it for stability.

It’s best to schedule a moving pod two months before your moving date. This should give you enough time to secure the correct size and number of moving pods you need. It’s often possible to book moving pods on shorter notice, even within one week, but there’s a higher risk of local pods already being taken, especially if you’re moving during the summer or on a holiday or weekend.
