"From the initial phone call for a bid, to the completion of the work Garage Force was by far the BEST contractor we have ever had. And after renovating an entire mid-century modern home in two years that is high praise. The Reeds (owners) were respectful of our property, on time everyday, answered all our questions, and just went above and beyond to meet our needs. For those looking to finish concrete floors, there is no better company than this. We have already referred them to our realtor friends and others in our neighborhood."

"The kitchen project, including cabinets, was actually our second service provided by E&H. We first contracted with them to paint the house exterior. In both cases, the quality of the work was truly exceptional. Workmanship and cleanup exceeded our expectations! There pricing is competitive and we received full value for our dollars spent. Both my wife (the CEO) and I rate this company 7 stars out of 5. We are now in contact with E&H to do more interior painting. I no longer entertain competitive offers. E&H will remain my sole-source painter. This is a unique and significant decision. As a retired purchasing manager, all decisions were till now based on competitive bids--this to include my marriage (51 years now)."

Epoxy Flooring questions, answered by experts

Resurfacing a garage floor takes about eight hours on average, with another couple hours over three days to do the epoxy. Epoxy goes on in three coats, with each coat taking 24 hours to dry and cure. You’ll need to keep foot and vehicle traffic off of your garage floor for around 4 days in total when replacing your garage floor, so be sure to plan ahead before you start. This is a great time to organize your garage since you’ll need to move everything out to apply the epoxy.

The life span of a painted concrete driveway can vary based on several factors. When properly prepared, primed, and painted with high-quality concrete paint, a well-maintained driveway can last 5 to 10 years or more. Other factors like climate conditions, traffic volume, and lack of maintenance also impact life span. Regular cleaning, resealing, and touch-ups can extend the longevity of a painted concrete driveway, ensuring it remains both functional and aesthetically pleasing.

Spills like water, oil, or grease can wear down the epoxy's strength, lowering its lifespan. While this damage doesn’t happen immediately, it can accumulate over time, so cleaning up any garage spills as soon as they happen is essential. Avoid cleaning with or using dish soap on your epoxy floors since they will leave an unattractive residue. Instead, you can use half of a cup of ammonia diluted with a gallon of water for cleaning purposes.

You can paint over old paint on a concrete porch. For the best results, you should first clean the surface and remove as much paint as you can. A power washer is helpful here, but you’ll also want to scrape as much of the old paint away as possible. Then you should prime the porch before repainting it.

To prep a floor for painting, start by sweeping and cleaning any loose debris that could puncture the protective material. Take out as much furniture as possible. Then lay plastic, canvas, rosin paper, or masonite sheets across the room, securing them at the edges with masking tape. Plan your painting so that you minimize the chances you’ll step in and track any splatters.
