"We heard a constant hum from the sump pump last evening and found the motor trying to run but nothing being pumped out. We pulled the plug and called for service. Joe found nothing wrong with the pump. A switch was turned off that should have been on and the outside drainpipe was frozen solid. We had not thought of the drainpipe as we knew the water pumped out a few days before as snow was melting. An unusually long cold spell caused freezing and pitch of the pipe was wrong at the end of the pipe. Joe was very knowledgeable and honest.
