Jason Dodge did a great job. Not only did he snake the drain in no time at all but he noticed the hot and cold water were reversed on my sink faucet and in 3 minutes he corrected it no charge! He couldn't have been nicer. I was only charged $100. for the whole thing. they have definitely become my go-to plumber!

Afford-A-Rooter was great to work with. I called the team with a concern about our water line and the team was responsive, professional and were willing to take the time to explain the entire process and answer all of my questions. They were reasonably priced and were able to get the job done well and quickly. I would highly recommend this team, and I would absolutely hire them again.

Afford a Rooter replaced our house's sewer line about two months ago (technically, not for us but for the seller's of the house during our home purchase negotiation process), and told us we had a 5-year warranty afterwards. Then, a couple of weeks ago, our sewer line completely clogged, which caused our basement to flood and resulted in us incurring thousands of dollars in repair costs. The owners of the house vacated the house in early April, so no one was living in the house until we moved in. We had only lived in the house for a couple of weeks when this occurred, so the company’s plumber (whose name is AJ)'s explanation that "the sewer line had 3-4 weeks of clutter" made no sense. Furthermore, upon reconnecting with the sellers' last night they informed us that it was also AJ who did the repair back in May. AJ refused to honor our warranty and mentioned that the clogging "seemed malicious" in nature. We don't buy this explanation, and think something fishy is going in. I note from yelp and other websites that this exact (or very similar) situation has happened to many other clients, indicating this is a pattern and just a one off instance. We feel wronged and are incredibly disappointed in the service/treatment we have received.

I had a clogged kitchen drain on a weekend, a challenging time to find a reasonably priced plumbing company. After several unsuccessful calls, I made an appointment with an expensive service for the same day. I received a call back later in the day from Jason at Afford-a Router. He answered my questions and made an appointment for the same day. He arrived at the house, reviewed and resolved the problem in twenty minutes. He was professional, answered my questions, and the charge was very reasonable, considering it was a weekend. I highly recommend their services and will use them again.

We called on a Saturday for emergency service and within about 45 minutes the plumber had arrived. He used a roto-rooter type tool to clean out the sewer line. The work was done well and the plumber was very friendly and professional.

The company showed up when they said they would and completed the job within the time frame that they stated. Communication was a little rough with the field, but communication with the office was very responsive. Considering the extent of the work and the constraints within which they had to work, there was remarkably little collateral damage done. Unfortunately I was not able to witness the work before it was covered up and so I cannot comment on the quality of the installation, but can say that the company did a good job protecting the surrounding landscaped areas and seemed contentious and thoughtful in their approach to the work. I would definitely work with them again.

AJ was quick and professional and showed up several hours early. He called first to make sure we were there. All went really well. The only thingThat was a minor annoyance was since Our renter had put Drano in the sink and it never drained out, they had to charge a “acid fee” of 80 some dollars in addition to the routing charge. We understood, but it was a little annoying. However AJ was great, professional, and early.

It took a bit of work, but Ross found the best path to rod out the basement shower drain from the kitchen sink. I learned enough from the experience that I may be able to do the job myself next time.

I called them out three times to look at this drain. The first guy didn't seem to think there was a problem with it, but didn't do anything to investigate. He looked at a couple other things, but never sent a quote. The second guy ran a scope, but could not see the problem, and cleaned the drain anyway. The service was around $100, which seems to be pretty standard. He suggested part of the main line was collapsed in a place he could not see with the scope. The problem got worse, so we called again to get it fixed, the third guy was a no call/ no show.

I would like to express my most sincere appreciation for the excellent work done by Anthony R. when replacing our leaking main water shutoff valve this morning. In a very tight and difficult area, Anthony worked diligently to replace the valve, taking great pains to minimize impact to an adjacent wall that was in the way, cleaned up fully and was courteous and friendly all the while. One call to Afford-A-Rooter and A.J. was out in a few hours to confirmed the sewer issues found by the previous scope. A.J. was able to give us a quote right after his viewing of our line, and it was a lot less then we feared it would be. I will also add that A.J. had worked with us before, and can truly be trusted to tell you the problems, and fixes needed to keep things flowing smoothly. Afford-A-Rooter arrived on time to replace the broken line and tap, and even when they found parts of the line encased in cement, were able to dig a trench to replace the line, unlike the original plan to use 2 holes and a bursting technique, which would of saved them hours of time. Even with the extra digging and time the price remained the same. Félix and his crew were awesome, and left our yard looking exactly the same as it did before the repair. If you want your sewer done right, ask for Afford-A-Rooter, and A.J., for true peace of mind.

I scheduled my main line to be cleaned out / "snaked" for today. I was told that the service tech was going to be at my house between noon and 1PM. The service tech (A.J.) actually showed up an hour early. AJ was great to work with, very professional, skilled and over all, a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend Afford-a-Rooter. Ask for AJ! You will not be disappointed!

The job went very well. Before any replacement occurred the sewer lines were scoped one more time to verify how the replacement would occur; i.e. pipe bursting versus trenching. Ultimately both were used.
