I disagree completely because 5 hours of work, 1 CY of concrete, and less than 100 SF of sidewalk shouldn't cost more than $900. I think they were paid more than fairly."

There were several tasks we didn't discuss in detail (removing the existing window, disposal of the concrete), but he took care of everything. He also couldn't find the exact size window he quoted, and so gave me a larger window. The whole time I was kind of wondering if he would come back with a change order or upcharge, but no, he did it all at the originally agreed price. What a pleasant experience!"
