"This company completed a stamped concrete patio with very poor quality work. The patio has damages along the edging of the samps and is very uneven in the height. They made a big mess of my yard tracking concrete across my grass which killed several areas on the lawn. They left a significant mess of concrete splatter on the side of my house and fence. The patio was significantly higher off the ground than we divussed and in some areas was 12+inches off the ground which is not to code. The communication about the project was poor and the owner even admitted it was poor communication on their end but would still not resolve the problems caused by the lack of communication. The workers were drinking beer and smoking on my property and left beer bottle caps and cigarette butts all over my property. When I attempted to resolve this with the owner he began verbally berating me and calling me names over the phone. He then appeared at my home and came in my backyard without permission refusing to leave and threatening to break up the patio with a jackhammer. He was calling me a "crybaby" because I told him it was not my responsibility to clean up their messes and he needed to send people back to clean up. He later apologized saying his uncle passed away the night before and he was having a bad day and offered to seal the patio and fill in dirt around the patio to make up for his poor behavior. He completed the sealant but left more splatter on the sides of my house and fence that he did not clean up. The job was to include a firepit and seating area and he would not schedule a date to compete the work resulting me my decision to go through a different company for the remainder of the job. They damaged my sprinkler line and would not cover the cost of the damage. And then would not set a date to complete the remainder of their obligations to fill in dirt around the patio despite me request multiple times to schedule for this to be completed."

Communication was dismal - the person directing the project was inconsistent in his contact, and when I called to discuss some issues still to be addressed, I had to call the office twice (calls a week apart) in order for him to get back to me. In placing the plants and the walkway, the team that did the work was not supervised or told where to place the chosen plants, resulting in poorly placed plants for the locations. Pea gravel on a slope that I was told would be sprayed with a fixative was not sprayed. When I brought this to their attention, I was told it wasn't necessary, even though they were the ones who had suggested it originally. The worst problem was that in the course of planting the new plants, the team dug up the sprinkler lines, then laid them on top of the landscape fabric with loose mulch over the lines. When I asked to have them come back and rebury the lines, they simply cut the landscape fabric, pushed the lines under the fabric and spread the mulch again. The sprinkler lines are still not buried in the ground like they were. I'm still dissatisfied with the work."
