"Master MCG was unable to do the job until April .However, Master MCG did me a huge favor when I asked if he could please refer me to another carpenter. He referred me to Jesse Miranda of Artistic Wood, LLC who was able to take on the job immediately, and he brought in a second carpenter (Joe Yost) and they did an excellent job, for a reasonable price. Jesse was also very good at finding solutions and tweaking things to work/fit, etc. I would hire both Master MCG and Jesse (and Joe) again."

"The men that did the work related to the prepping the yard for the retaining wall, placing the rock and pavers for the walkway did a very good job and it really looked nice. I've worked in construction and building maintenance for over 50 years, so I know what's good workmanship and what's poor. The worker who did the framing for the new sidewalk, steps and porch was poor workmanship. Nothing was level or straight and I had to have the other crew correct the forms before concrete was poured. The guys that finished the concrete did an excellent job. Never let D&D workers connect the lawn sprinkler piping to your house water piping. They seem to be handymen, not real plumbers. Beside not installing necessary valves and fittings to winterizing the sprinkler system, all the copper pipe was installed crooked, under stress and not supported correctly. Overall, half the crew did very good work, the other half needs training."

"I found Dwight and was very happy to have done so.. Hired him for multiple projects on a rental house, and also to fix up that house for eventual sale. He's extremely capable; has very good solutions (even ones I never even considered!); he's honest; he's hard working; he's very reasonable in price; and he desires always to do quality work. If only EVERY contractor or handyman could be like Dwight! Because of all of his well deserved 5 stars in Home Advisor, he does get a little busy at times (of course!). But, for me, he'd go the extra mile above and way beyond my expectations to get work squeezed into his schedule and even came over late several nights to get work done I had to have done within my time schedule. If I could, I'd give him 6 stars. All well earned!"

"Mark is the best. He and his team completed a project for us that included removing popcorn ceilings, making textured walls smooth, fixing drywall issues, and painting our entire interior house. Mark is a clear communicator including new items that come up and questions on finishes and paint transitions. This job was completed exactly on time and budget per his estimate which I’ve never experienced in home projects. They left the place very clean and ready for us to move in including time for a final walkthrough and touch ups. I’ll definitely use mark and team again for bathroom renovations, exterior paint, and other drywall and pairing work. They are the best."

Alexei Newenham came out and did the work of relocating my existing attic access folding ladder, cutting and blocking a new hole, and installing the Auxx lift. Alexei was great, and I highly recommend him. His work is good, he is personable, and he is skilled at the rough framing, trim carpentry, plastering and painting, and complex lift install. He is the first one I’ll call when I want more work done."
