They tackled a full backyard transformation: demoing our old patio, running gas for a fire pit and electric for a pergola, then installing a paver patio and an electric pergola with rotating louvres, lights, and a privacy screen for sun shade. They also regraded our north side and added rock over a French drain, which solved water issues that had been affecting our sump pump. We got multiple quotes before choosing them, and they stayed within budget while keeping everything on schedule. The crew showed up early every morning and worked nonstop the whole time they were here. We did run into a manufacturer issue partway through, which took some extra time to sort out, but the team communicated with us every step of the way and never left us guessing. "The men that did the work related to the prepping the yard for the retaining wall, placing the rock and pavers for the walkway did a very good job and it really looked nice. I've worked in construction and building maintenance for over 50 years, so I know what's good workmanship and what's poor. The worker who did the framing for the new sidewalk, steps and porch was poor workmanship. Nothing was level or straight and I had to have the other crew correct the forms before concrete was poured. The guys that finished the concrete did an excellent job. Never let D&D workers connect the lawn sprinkler piping to your house water piping. They seem to be handymen, not real plumbers. Beside not installing necessary valves and fittings to winterizing the sprinkler system, all the copper pipe was installed crooked, under stress and not supported correctly. Overall, half the crew did very good work, the other half needs training."

Mark was able to figure out exactly what was needed just by sending over a few photos and chatting on the phone. It’s easy to tell he has massive experience. The work was priced reasonably and Javier knocked it out in a few days. They even went above and beyond and framed out a box to access our new sump pump that was recently installed.
