About us
I am operating the same ‘one man’ company I formed in 2006. That's when I started helping homeowners here in Denver thru HomeAdvisor (when it was called Service Magic). I am especially proud of working with a large array of wonderful and talented individuals in all walks of life! Many of my clients know me quite well and have found no surprise in why they have chosen me to be their main ‘go to guy’ for quite a long time; and some from the beginning years. Thank you goes out to everyone who has partnered with SHH for their home maintenance needs . I have remodeled kitchens and baths but primarily stick with smaller projects. Replaced sinks ,faucets , flooring, repaired and or replaced fence panels, all kinds of doors repair/ replacement, lots of ceiling fans, glass panes, garage door openers , toilets, faucets, and cleaned sink drains, check out a few pictures and remember to click through the (stacks) of photos. Very good,. He was a little slow in finishing the job but didn't charge extra for the agreed upon price. He took a bad storm door back to Lowe's and exchanged for a good one. Didn't charge me for the trip.

Exterior Trim - Repair
Dwight came highly recommended to me by a friend. I needed some facia and trim repairs prior to new gutters going up. I hired Dwight because I felt like I did not have time to do it and was in a hurry. What I came to realize was I never would have done as good of a job as Dwight did. He came up for some great solutions to some weird issues on my old home that I never would have thought of.Ive passed his number on a couple times already and am working to schedule with him to get some more work done.

Dwight is the real deal. I was completely amazed by the level of quality he completed the two tasks on the job. One was a fairly large drywall repair, another a piece-in of a jagged cut that was made in some wooden door trim. Both jobs were done quickly, for an amazingly fair price, cheerfully and professionally. I recommend him for high quality repair and reconstruction work you may have.

I will never hire this company again! Didn't come when scheduled, took 3-4 hour breaks, extremely disorganized and prone to get very angry and frustrated. The jobs would have been completed in 3 days however they all week and wasn't finished when he left.

"I started to work on a number of complicated projects which overlapped; tile job; painting and installing cabinets; hardwood floor for install in a bathroom that was aged and warped. During the initial consult of the kitchen remodel I provided the design for the cabinet layout without charge. I work on all projects at the same time in an organized and efficient manner and was commended on the quality of my work. Due to we were not able to come to agreement on the every changing scope and timeframe of the project it was decided to pay for the services I had provided and end our relationship. I stand behind my satisfaction guarantee and my unbeatable value. I gave her work at a discounted price and she admitted that she loved the quality of work."

I found Dwight and was very happy to have done so.. Hired him for multiple projects on a rental house, and also to fix up that house for eventual sale. He's extremely capable; has very good solutions (even ones I never even considered!); he's honest; he's hard working; he's very reasonable in price; and he desires always to do quality work. If only EVERY contractor or handyman could be like Dwight! Because of all of his well deserved 5 stars in Home Advisor, he does get a little busy at times (of course!). But, for me, he'd go the extra mile above and way beyond my expectations to get work squeezed into his schedule and even came over late several nights to get work done I had to have done within my time schedule. If I could, I'd give him 6 stars. All well earned!

Dwight worked in my home while my 9yr old, mother, dog and I were home. He was very unassuming and did the work I asked quietly and efficiently. He needed little direction and handled the chaos with dog and kid very well! Project included hanging drapery rods, installing a storm door and cleaning a light fixture in kitchen. He charged exactly what was quoted, no surprises.

He is very careful and seems to have a gift what he does. He is so quiet and he alone put up a 10'W X 14'L X 8'H storage shed kit, including floor frame, and made sure the floor was flat and roof secured against snow weight issues. He did this in 3 days. I did recomend him to others. He is a sweet man, well-mannered, very professional. I am really impressed . He so extremely careful and did excellent job. He also took down, moved and re-assembled a playset on the first day of this project. He's a 'walk-on-water' professional. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!
