5-Star Cedar Fences

It's a very nice work the pro did. The fence work was started in November 2020 means was given to Geom construction that your company refers to me but it was a scam after doing some part of the fence disappeared. Since its address was a scam police can't find it. Now, I'm happy Cedar pro finished the fence work Successfully.

The person responsible for creating bids, scheduling work, and facilitating payment stops responding, once the deposit is paid. We hired them to repair our fence and retaining wall. Part of the fence is six inches higher than the rest and the retaining wall looks far worse, compared to the beginning. When asked to fix the issues, the response was that â fences are not subject to inspection or city codesâ (which is absolutely wrong) and then they stopped responding again. Overall, the job was underbid on time and cost, and the professionalism of the manager is atrocious. Please save yourself the headache and funds by going somewhere else.

Bill and Cesar worked hard to ensure things were done right and per the plan. We had some challenges with the initial work which required rework. This was a pretty easy job and there shouldn't of been rework that required my time - which was very frustrating. Pay attention to the detail and ensure you are crystal clear on what materials are being used upfront and then inspect closely before paying.

Bill was very good about getting back to me in a timely manner if I called and answered all of my questions to my satisfaction. They started work when they said they would and completed the job in the time alloted.

We lost a very large double gate and surrounding fence due to wind. Bill worked with on pricing different portions or all of the required work as we had originally planned to fix ourselves until utilities were marked nearby. We opted to have them complete the entire job. Fence ante appear to be high quality and properly installed. Minor issues were resolved to satisfaction and they were patient with us. High quality, good value.

5 Star Cedar Fence did an outstanding job with replacing approx 28 wooden boards, one broken post and building a new gate for the East side of my split rail fence. Bill, the owner and Josue, the foreman on the job, were so very accommadating to my situation. That side of the fence had been redone about 3 years ago by a contractor who didn't know the craft and did a shottie job. The boards were all warped/bowed, with not enough screws per board, there was even one spot when he simply didn't place a board. I was not in town when the work was completed and when I returned, the contractor had abandoned the project. I prayed to God to not be taken advantage of again. Via Angi, it was Bill and Josua to the rescue. The price was more than fare and the work was completed in 2 days, even with all the rain. Then, just to demonstrate how amazing this company is, Bill told me the new gate was on him since I had been through so much. Not only does 5 Star do exceptionally good quality work, they are truly good honest, trust worthy, hard working people.

Bill Bid the job on Saturday. The work started on Sunday and was completed on Tuesday. The work was done right with thorough clean up.

This company is honest and when they tell you the work will be done right, it is. Josh did an awesome and quality job with fixing our fence door. I would recommend Josh and 5 star cedar fence to everyone. Thank you for being so honest with my husband and I. Would hire them all the time.

Great work

After the initial visit and quote, I was told they would be back to perform the work to fix our gate on Thursday. They never showed, promised they would be there first thing on Friday and didnâ  t show up until after 1pm when I wasnâ  t there. Some work was performed, but the latch was still not functioning and the gate still needed to be held closed by cinder blocks. I contacted the owner and he spent 2 and a half weeks promising his guy was going to come back out. When he finally did (again on a day I wasnâ  t available to be there and communicated that) Bill came back and told me that â  something had happened to the latch since they were there to fix itâ  and that it would be at an additional cost to me, even though the original work was never completed. Very dissatisfied and will be looking elsewhere now to get this fixed.

About 5 star Cedar fence they come out and put up a fence Gate and a Deck. They did a really bad job on putting the deck up it was uneven you put a ball on one side of the deck and it rolled to the other side So they renew the deck and the deck is not touching the braces underneath All of the wood is uneven The top rail is uneven They did the top rail through the gutters and now in order to replace the gutters you have to remove the top deck rail Sub par work. Now the cement is less than a year old that they put down starting to Crack and Spalding. The fence they put up does not work right scrapes the floor and is hard to move in the opposite direction. The front step that they put in with cement is too small and I trip every time I walk out of my house I've already broken one phone tripping and falling. They also when they a started to scrape the ground to put Cement down They took all the rocks and debris and put it across my back lawn expecting us to do landscaping. Now that I have paid them all the cash, funny they have not called me back they have not acknowledged that I have called them they do not care whether they come back or not and they ignore you like you are not even there. They got their money. They have sent 3 people to my house one name Vic 1 name Josh 1 name ivis. They still seem to can't get the job done right after the 3rd person. I do not know what to do . The person's name is bill With 5 star Cedar And fence Also it has been almost 2 years that they have been working at my house they come work and then the Winter will hit and they stop working and then come back after Winter and start working again when the wood has not been treated and it is turning into Banana wood lol.

Work was completed timely and to expectations staff was courteous and responsive

The fence is good, the workers were nice.

At the time of this writing the work has not been completed so will be better to ask for the review once work is done.

They did a great job with the fence repair. It's so nice to open and close the gates without difficulty.

5 Star did a good job of repairing my gate and replacing the post. The only issue I had was that they did not show up when they said they would be there. They were a couple hours late for the estimate and the repair. They did get the job done quickly and the day after I got the estimate.

They did a very nice job repairing my vinyl fence. Excellent quality of repair. Pricing was reasonable. The end-post had to be replaced, which made the job more involved. Only thing to be aware of is the workers do not provide windows when they would show up (e.g., 10-2). I work from home, so it was not an issue. However, if you work outside the home, they may come by when you are not home.
