"This company did a good job in replacing my sprinkler system. Only complaint would be that they didn't show up at the exact time that they said because they were busy which is understandable. They were supposed to move some rocks and that did not happen. But they are very efficient, friendly and followed my directions on where I wanted the sprinkler heads to be. Everything turned out very well and automated system is working wonderfully."

"Max & Jason responded right away with expertise and a solution at an extremely reasonable price. Our grass was dying and we could not figure out why. They were s as ble to come the same day and walk through our entire system helping us understand why we haven’t been able to grow a healthy lawn. They found not 1 but two leaks as well as issues with our coverage. They provided a quote that broke down all our issues into smaller chunks we could have addressed at our pace. They were even able to come back the next day to get the job done. They educated us on our system and lawn so we could move forward knowledgeably. We will definitely be hiring them to help us in the future with edging, tree removal and because of the unknown leaks probably concrete repair. Grateful we found them."

"Great! They cleaned up my large yard quickly. No issues. Everyone on the crew was nice and pleasant to work with. They cleaned out some bushes around my patio that I didn't think would be included in the price. They went above and beyond."

Fountains questions, answered by experts

Most outdoor water fountains and features do not use a lot of electricity, typically consuming between 100 and 250 watts per day. The size of the fountain's motor can impact its overall electricity usage. To reduce energy consumption, you can use a timer to automatically turn the fountain off at night or when you are away from home. Additionally, installing solar power components can help lower electricity costs after the initial investment is recouped.

Placing your water feature in direct sun can speed up evaporation, leading to pump damage and algae growth. Shade or partial shade serves as the ideal location for most water features—just watch out for tree and plant debris that may fall in and clog the pump.

To maintain your pond, you’ll need to occasionally clean your backyard pond, especially if you have koi fish. Test the water twice a week to make sure your fish have everything they need and always remove visible debris.

Yes, your fish should stay alive in a frozen pond if you winterize it properly. By ensuring your pond has enough oxygen, good water quality, and a hole to release harmful gases, your pond and fish have the best chance of staying alive and healthy. However, if you have tropical fish, they should be overwintered indoors.

You have several options for your pond by getting your yard ready for the winter. You can winterize your koi pond by ensuring it’s at least 5 feet deep so it doesn’t freeze completely, installing a pond heater or aerator and having it run at all times, and installing a deicer if temperatures are dangerously low for an extended period. You can also choose to shut down your pond for the winter by removing all the wildlife in it and bringing it indoors, cleaning out the filter and pump, and then covering the pond with a tarp.
