"Next time you walk by an egress window on one of these flipped homes - check out the workmanship - crooked, leaking glue out the sides, certainly no permit. I know this because I have witnessed it AND I called one of those "cheap" window people for an estimate (notice how they are ready at the drop off a hat and then drop out of sight when there are problems? The window placed by Egree Inc is perfect. Was it more expensive - not much more than as egress window placed in 2013 that was equal in quality. It was also permitted, inspected, and sits level without leftover glue seeping out the sides. Was there a wait time - not more than I would expect from any quality provider. I was kept informed on the timeline and the window was completed as promised. BONUS - the workmanship is guaranteed and the company will be around to stand behind the workmanship. Excellent work."

"I went to their office and I met Kate to discuss my needs. She was very professional, helpful and concerned. She provided me an honest quote that exceeded my expectation for the work being performed. She was able to work with me to meet my quick time frame for delivery. Chris was able to meet with me, delivered my huge 10 feet 9 1/2 inches windows earlier than I expected. Great communication with Chris, explaining the type of windows, the lower value and superb support. When we need windows or glass support in the future, it will be a no-brainer to contact Kate and Chris for our needs. Thanks a million to Kate and Chris for exceeding our needs. Additionally for being able to stay below our budget."

"They kept us up to date along the whole process from purchase to window measurements to custom building to installation to inspection after installation"

If you have a problem with your window, such as broken glass, minor leaks, or a problem with your window being stuck, repairing the broken part might be a cheaper option than replacing the entire window. However, if you have a deteriorating window frame or major leaks, buying a new window will be the better long-term solution.
Window replacement can become costly, especially if you’re replacing your whole home. There are a few steps you can take to help save money on the bottom cost while still giving your windows a facelift.
Replace multiple windows at once to bundle your purchase
Inquire about discounts, coupons, or special offers
Consider window repair as soon as you see damage to help prevent the need for replacement
Maintain your windows often by inspecting your windows for drafts, leaks, and cracks
There are certain window repairs that are cost-effective to DIY and relatively simple for homeowners to tackle themselves. Tasks like replacing a screen, replacing a lock, or sealing a window are typically under $30 and take minimal time to do yourself. However, if you need to replace your window or repair a broken double pane, it’s best to call in a professional window replacement installer to lend a hand. Replacing the majority or all of the windows in your home is a time consuming job and best left to a professional.
Window replacement costs between $180 and $410 per window, or an average of $280 per window. However, your specific replacement job could cost as little as $100 or as much as $750. Factors such as frame material, the number of windows you need, and the type of glass you order all impact the overall cost. For example, simple double-glazed windows will cost $3 to $6 per square foot, but the stronger tempered glass ranges from $12 to $14 per square foot.
The time it takes to replace a window is a total of four to 15 weeks. This time includes your initial consultation, appointments for measuring, as well as ordering and manufacturing your windows. For a smaller job, you can expect the total timeline to be on the shorter end, but for a whole house window replacement, it might take longer (or be split into multiple install appointments). Once your windows are created and ready to be installed, your window installer will take 30 to 60 minutes per window to install.
