"This is the second time we have used Egress Inc. From the initial phone call to LoraLee through the installation with Paul they were exceptional. Paul was on time for our appointment to go over pricing and installation. They knew we were in a time crunch and moved the appointment to an earlier date to help us out. Once the job was complete the yard/rock looked like they had never been there! They even cleaned out and added rock to two other window wells without charge or prompting.

"Colorado Glass Specialists is a good, honest company to work with. They are professional, courteous, get back with you promptly, and have reasonable pricing. I had been looking for a company for quite some time that would replace the glass on two windows with broken seals. The other window companies I reached out to told me they only replace entire windows, not just the glass. Chris, from Colorado Glass Specialists, aims to please and gave me reasonable bids for exactly what I wanted. I would highly recommend Colorado Glass."

"He does great work and he also makes conversation while he works rather than how most people just do their work in silence. We highly recommend him for your window tinting needs."

If you have a problem with your window, such as broken glass, minor leaks, or a problem with your window being stuck, repairing the broken part might be a cheaper option than replacing the entire window. However, if you have a deteriorating window frame or major leaks, buying a new window will be the better long-term solution.
Window replacement can become costly, especially if you’re replacing your whole home. There are a few steps you can take to help save money on the bottom cost while still giving your windows a facelift.
Replace multiple windows at once to bundle your purchase
Inquire about discounts, coupons, or special offers
Consider window repair as soon as you see damage to help prevent the need for replacement
Maintain your windows often by inspecting your windows for drafts, leaks, and cracks
There are certain window repairs that are cost-effective to DIY and relatively simple for homeowners to tackle themselves. Tasks like replacing a screen, replacing a lock, or sealing a window are typically under $30 and take minimal time to do yourself. However, if you need to replace your window or repair a broken double pane, it’s best to call in a professional window replacement installer to lend a hand. Replacing the majority or all of the windows in your home is a time consuming job and best left to a professional.
Window replacement costs between $180 and $410 per window, or an average of $280 per window. However, your specific replacement job could cost as little as $100 or as much as $750. Factors such as frame material, the number of windows you need, and the type of glass you order all impact the overall cost. For example, simple double-glazed windows will cost $3 to $6 per square foot, but the stronger tempered glass ranges from $12 to $14 per square foot.
The time it takes to replace a window is a total of four to 15 weeks. This time includes your initial consultation, appointments for measuring, as well as ordering and manufacturing your windows. For a smaller job, you can expect the total timeline to be on the shorter end, but for a whole house window replacement, it might take longer (or be split into multiple install appointments). Once your windows are created and ready to be installed, your window installer will take 30 to 60 minutes per window to install.
