"Absolutely fabulous company! We had worked with this company before (to paint the exterior of our 1899 Victorian house) and when it was time for the interior to be painted; we knew who to call! The painters arrived on time and before a paintbrush was even unwrapped, they THOROUGHLY covered every inch of my relatively new and expensive stair and hallway carpet. I have very high ceilings which were expertly painted along with picture rails, chair rails, baseboards and the walls. The results were stunning! They helped move the heavy furniture and cleaned up afterwards. After a final walk through where any tiny touch ups were made, I was - yet again - a VERY happy customer! DEFINITELY recommend to anyone looking for quality home/business painters at a reasonable price. Both Juan and Mariana are a pleasure to work with!"

"We wanted our living room painted and had several nail holes and places where the paper finish on our walls had peeled from removing wall hangings. Anthony repaired all the damaged areas, and did a phenomenal job with the painting! He has a gift for the fine details that come with the final touches of a paint job. He finished in a timely, and professional manner. We will certainly call him again when needed!!!"

"Got my 3 car garage painted. Very professional, they did a great job! I got my garage floors epoxy covered a couple weeks prior to painting...they covered everything. Thats what took the most work was taping and covering the floors. I would hire them again."

"Kelly helped with *lots* of various things around my new house, and everything is looking great! We kept going to fix one thing and finding extra problems to deal with, and he just rolled with it all, until we were done! I’ll definitely be calling him back out to help with future projects! He was excellent, and I couldn’t have done all this without his help! Thanks again, Kelly! Until next time!"

"Ray is trustworthy. He is knowledgeable and skilled. I would recommend him as an honest and trustworthy contractor that provides high quality work. If all contractors conducted their business as Ray does we would not need Home Advisor, unfortunately there are far too many dishonest ones out there."

"Frank and Joe arrived on time as arranged, completed their work quickly to exacting standards, and left the job site meticulously clean. I'm beyond delighted. They installed a large custom twin double-hung window to replace a cheap slider window on the second floor of our Queen Anne Victorian, and knowing it's the weather-side of the house they were careful to seal and insulate everywhere. They finished all of the trimwork too in short order, and even volunteered to take with them a new screen that didn't quite fit to resize at their shop and return later -- saving us yet another exasperating trip to Home Depot Customer Service. A few qualities stand-out with these gentlemen: They did the job right the first time, and they did the whole job; they know these old houses in Old Colorado City, and nothing surprises them about 1890s construction or odd repairs since then; they arrive on time and start working and keep working until they're done; they're friendly and cheerful, making them easy to communicate with; they're willing to extend themselves to do the job right, even when that involves details outside the narrow project scope; and they take coronavirus precautions seriously, keeping a respectful distance and keeping masked. I'd hire them again, and again, and again. They're welcome in our home anytime."

"I had a custom barn door that had to be installed. They were so meticulous with their work to make sure the door was hung properly. Very professional and fantastic work!"
Building a custom closet costs about $2,000, on average. Because many types, sizes, and designs are available, the cost to build custom closets ranges from $250 to $6,000 or more. A reach-in closet is on the lower end of the price range from about $250 to $1,500, compared to a walk-in closet at $750 to $3,500 or a wardrobe at the high end between $1,500 and $6,000 or more.
The main difference between a closet and a wardrobe is that a closet is a separate room for general storage with its own door, and a wardrobe can be either built-in or freestanding place to store clothing. A walk-in or reach-in closet connected to a bedroom often serves the same purpose as a wardrobe by primarily storing clothes and shoes. A built-in wardrobe often does not have doors and leaves clothes exposed to view, whereas a standalone wardrobe usually has doors.
You may need a building permit to add a closet, depending on the size and kind of work required to install it. The most likely scenario requiring a permit involves changing the structure of the house and performing electrical work for closet lighting. A permit can cost between $100 and $450. If you’re installing a smaller reach-in closet, a permit may not be required, but always check with your local municipality and consult a closet designer or builder.
Different types of closets are defined mostly by size. A few different types of closets include:
A reach-in closet is a smaller closet that you can stand in front of and reach everything inside it. Aside from the size, the doors and the level of drywall finish are typically the largest price factors.
A walk-in closet can be anything from a small 5-by-5 feet closet that has a narrow walkway with shelves on both sides to a 100 square foot bedroom-sized closet with shelving along the walls and plenty of room to move around in.
A built-in wardrobe often does not have a door and leaves the clothes and other contents open to the room, whereas a closet usually has a door to separate it from the rest of the room.
Yes, building a custom closet can definitely add value to your home. Creating a more useful and pleasing space to your home, especially a custom closet for prospective home buyers to imagine as their own, is likely to increase the value. However, avoid overdoing it with a closet that takes up too much space that’s otherwise more useful as living space, or paying extra for overly lavish materials and finishes that aren’t likely to add more value than they cost.
