Perfect plumbing. I'm a commercial/industrial plumber by training, so the aesthetics behind the wall are important to me. I know the UPC and IPC codes and can pull permits. I've got a good team, so I can do whatever size job you need, from running the underground of a new build to setting the finish to running a bbq gas line to fixing a faucet. Your satisfaction is guaranteed, or your money back.

"Bret is a competent professional who cares that his work is done well and done right."

Waterlines, sewer lines, remove stumps, excavate for walls, concrete slabs, and final grades, foundation perimeter drains, underground electrical conduits w/power installed by others, Install concrete retaining walls, concrete slabs for sheds, garages, and driveways. Interior painting. Handyman miscellaneous.

"This company did a great job for us. They removed old city sidewalks and replaced them with new, plus added a sloped section to our back yard walk leading to our garage. They showed up on time, completed their work in the amount of time expected +/- 4 hours. Pricing was very competitive based on 3 bids we received prior to starting the project. Patrick and his sons Marion and Benjamin were very professional, and took care not to damage our yard any more than absolutely necessary. During the work prep several sprinkler lines were damaged and they immediately repaired them even though their written contract excluded that requirement. They are honest and courteous and we are very glad we hired this local family owned business. They are the "real deal"."

Septic Tanks questions, answered by experts

With so much available information about the ecological effects of cesspools (and their general unpleasantness), it begs the question: Are cesspools legal? In short, sort of. Large-capacity cesspools that serve more than 20 people are completely illegal countrywide. Existing, smaller cesspools are generally allowed as long as they’re not actively polluting. However, new cesspools are illegal to build in all 50 states and Puerto Rico, and many states offer programs to help homeowners with the costs of updating cesspools to modern septic systems.

Pump the tank every 3-5 years, avoid flushing non-degradable items, and address leaks promptly to extend system life.

While dry wells are helpful for dispersing excess rainwater from the roof or around the house, there are some downsides. For example, if you install a gravity flow dry well, it can take a long time to release the water depending on the dry well’s depth and the permeability of the soil.

There’s also a risk of overflowing the dry well if you don’t have one large enough to handle the amount of rain in your area. The biggest disadvantage is that it’s hard to clean out a dry well, and sediment buildup can make the dry well less effective.

An outdoor water valve typically has a round or oval handle that you can turn to control the water flow. It may be located in a protective box or pit near the property line, where the main water line connects to your house.

Many septic professionals agree that spring is the best time of year to empty a septic tank. By this point, the temperatures have usually warmed up enough so that the ground is no longer frozen, which makes it easier to access the tank (and less likely for the waste to be frozen inside the tank). Summer and fall are also decent times to do it, but winter isn’t.
