"Nico Bryce and Mario are an exemplary team of service professionals from juggernaut home service! We called them to repair our air conditioner during 90+ temperatures and they came to our aid the very next day. We are impressed with their service professionalism friendliness skill and knowledge. Our issue was repaired quickly over three weeks ago and is still working beautifully! We will happily call on them for future repair needs. We are positive you will not find better service and/or greater customer service with any other company. Albert and Linda M"

"Andrew came out to a very unusual shower drain problem. Everyone else either didn't want to mess with it or told us we had to tear the shower out. He took the time to figure it out and ultimately fix the problem. Great job Andrew thanks for not giving up. When I first asked him what he thought about it he said I think I'm going to fix it and he did. Thanks again for the good work and fair cost."

Heating and Air Conditioning questions, answered by experts

The American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air-Conditioning Engineers, or ASHRAE, sets the standard guidelines for air changes per hour in homes and businesses. The International Residential Code, or IRC, also sets ACH requirements for residences and bases those requirements off of ASHRAE standards plus climate specifics related to your location.

Many factors affect how much adding air conditioning will cost you, from the size of your home to the size, type, brand, and installation specifics of the system itself. Chances are, a new central air conditioning system for a 2,000-square-foot house will cost somewhere between $3,900 and $7,900 to install, with an average around $6,000

Winterizing can still help you save money on energy costs and help prepare your AC for its work next year when you turn it back on. We suggest planning for at least some maintenance, even if winters are mild in your area.

There are several common types of HVAC systems that you may have, including split systems, hybrid HVAC, duct-free systems, packaged heating and air, geothermal heating, or even portable units for heating or cooling. If you aren’t sure which type is in your home or are looking to install something different, you should consult an HVAC pro to determine which option is right for your heating and cooling needs.

When first installed, flex ducts shouldn’t cause airflow problems in your home. However, because flex ducts aren’t the sturdiest and require extra support, they lose their durability over time and begin to sag, which can inhibit airflow down the road. Also, if your flex ducts aren’t tight enough, your HVAC could work twice as hard for the same air pressure. If you’re worried about the airflow in your home, a rigid duct may be your best bet.
