"Precision installed my water heater two years ago. When I had my furnace serviced, the technician checked the pressure on the water heater and it was very high, a component had failed. A plumber from Precision came out and replaced the defective part since it was under warranty. He suspected that a water pressure regulator may have to be installed but when he checked the water pressure coming into the house, it was in the acceptable range. He could have just as easily told me I needed this and it would have cost me $600 but Jacob was an honest man. I am so impressed with his integrity. I will use them again in the future for sure. The replacement of the defective part didn't cost me anything. Thank you Precision for being an honest company."

"I would highly recommend hiring Marcos. He is exceptionally reliable, honest, and responsive. He understood how to address all the various requests, from installing lighting and ceiling fans to repairing multiple light issues around the house. I fully trusted his assessments and he efficiently tackled each project, even returning a second time with the additional materials we needed. He proved to understand the issues much clearer than a larger company I previously consulted, who failed to identify a wet electrical wire and simply rold me to replace a bulb. I will be calling on Marcus for all future electrical needs!"

"Spoke with Vy, he was able to give me a quote over the phone. They showed up the next day and installed 3 bathroom light fixtures. My chandelier and ceiling fans were back ordered and not available for them to install. They will be back to complete the installation at a later date. Very satisfied with the company and workers."

"Robert, the owner of All About Electric, contacted me within 30 minutes of placing the electrician request through Home Advisor. He followed up with me regarding our electrical needs in-person the next day. Robert performed all of the work we requested in a timely fashion; trouble shooting faulty GFIs, replacing toggle switches and installing multiple new ceiling fans. His work was clean, fast and thorough. I would recommend All About Electric to anyone in Boulder County."

Bathroom Fan Installation questions, answered by experts

In short, no. You can use the square footage range chart in this article to determine the right size ceiling fan for both indoor and outdoor spaces. However, weather elements can damage types of ceiling fans that aren't designed for outdoor use, so your ceiling fan should be weather-resistant if you plan to install it outside.

The direction you want your ceiling fan to move in depends on the season you’re in. During summer, you want it to move counterclockwise to produce a cooling downdraft. During winter, you want it to move clockwise to circulate warm air throughout the room.

Yes, you can oil an electric fan with machine or motor oil but don’t use cooking oil because it can become thick or seize up, damaging the fan. Before oiling your fan, turn it off and remove any dust and debris. Wipe away any excess lubricant after oiling.

The more surface area that a ceiling fan blade has, the more effective it will be at producing airflow. Therefore, a longer ceiling fan blade is the better option if you’re looking for more wind. However, a longer blade will consume more energy than a shorter blade.

To convert a ceiling fan to wireless, you’ll need to install a canopy module to access the lighting and fan controls. Many options are available, all of which help you control specific elements of your ceiling fan, so you have plenty of choices depending on your needs.
