"It was outstanding that Robert contacted me immediately after my request on Home Advisor. Although I decided to go with another company that both sold and installed the particular whole house fan I wanted, I was impressed with Robert's professionalism, and excellent and can-do attitude. I'll definitely keep him in mind at the top of my list for a couple of future pure electrical projects that I need to have done."

"R&T was able to give me an estimate up front for services. The other recommended pro could only advise a standard trip charge that would be charged for an estimation for services only upon the visit. The R&T team was professional, timely and carried extra parts on hand for the ones I missed. The part charges were very reasonable. One of my fans need additional items to connect the light fixture. After the installation was done they offered to swing by to finish the light house after the original appointment . I'd absolutely hire them again and refer them to friends!"

"Spoke with Vy, he was able to give me a quote over the phone. They showed up the next day and installed 3 bathroom light fixtures. My chandelier and ceiling fans were back ordered and not available for them to install. They will be back to complete the installation at a later date. Very satisfied with the company and workers."

Bathroom Fan Installation questions, answered by experts

If you think your fan needs to be oiled, the first thing that you have to do is cut the power to the fan. The best and safest way to do this is by flipping the circuit breaker that leads to that room.  Depending on the model of your fan, you may need to remove a cover. Look for a hole labeled oil. If there isn't one, check the manual or look for schematics online. Once located, use the recommended lubricant or spray.

To convert a ceiling fan to wireless, you’ll need to install a canopy module to access the lighting and fan controls. Many options are available, all of which help you control specific elements of your ceiling fan, so you have plenty of choices depending on your needs.

There are many types of ceiling fans, from self-automated smart ceiling fans to outdoor ceiling fans that provide additional comfort to your patio. What you choose all comes down to function and personal taste.

Consider your ceiling height when selecting a ceiling fan. Rooms with ceilings under eight feet high will do well with low-profile ceiling fans, also known as flush-mount or hugger ceiling fans. If your home has cathedral ceilings or ceilings between 10 and 25 feet high, you’ll need a large ceiling fan with a heavy-duty motor to get adequate air circulation.

Wood stove fans are designed to operate quietly, emitting only a subtle hum from their motor. This low noise level ensures minimal disruption in your living space, allowing you to enjoy the warmth without distraction. The fan blades, which are engineered for efficient air circulation, contribute to the overall quiet operation. This makes wood stove fans a practical choice for maintaining a peaceful environment while effectively distributing heat throughout your room or home.

There are many signs of a bad AC fan motor, including if the fan blades don’t spin when the AC kicks on or if they keep spinning when the AC is off. The AC fan cools down the condenser coil, so a faulty motor can also cause the system to overheat. Unusual noises in the exterior AC unit, including grinding or rattling sounds, may also be a sign that the AC fan motor is worn out.
