"TJ was a great electrician to work with. He’s punctual and professional with affordable prices. He’s my go to guy for electrical issues and he even helped with troubleshooting my solar panels issue when another company messed up my install from two years ago. I didnt even know it but he caught it and fixed it. Super impressed."

"Reyes Electric has great service and customer service. He is very professional at what he does and the price is very reasonable, very worth to pay for the electrical work he does. I recommend this company if you are looking to upgrade your electrical needs or if you need an emergency fix. This company has it!"

"My experience was great. They were so nice and when they showed up they verified what needed to be done and completed it in a timely manner. I took about 3 hours. Other companies that I looked into required other cost that would be needed but this company had very skilled electricians that didn’t need to do what the other companies had to do regarding damage to the walls. I would definitely recommend them."

"Excellent customer service and work for adding electric to our fireplace to mount a TV. Craig was very responsive and had the job done in less than 48 hours. He even added a conduit (which I never would have thought of) in case we want to add more cables, audio, etc in the future. Pricing was very reasonable and accurate and he sent pictures of the job when it was done since we are not onsite (another above and beyond thought I didn't ask for). He will absolutely be my go-to electrician in the future."

"Our solar project was great. The experience from beginning to end was a good experience. We are happy with the sales, installation, and performance of our panels. From the time we signed up to the actual install, our sales rep, Chad DeLong, was very helpful and knowledgeable. The installers were in and out and we have had zero issues with anything since then. I check my app all the time to see how it is doing. We got a rebate from xcel last year which was also nice."

Ev Charger Installer questions, answered by experts

You can use outdoor electrical outlets to conveniently power landscaping equipment such as electrical lawnmowers, leaf blowers, and pressure washers. From a recreational standpoint, outdoor outlets are handy for powering electric grills, mini-fridges, and stereos. They're also helpful when it's time to string Christmas lights on your home and around your property.

Setting up utilities on a vacant property usually takes at least a few months, or between 6 weeks to 16 weeks. This process requires working with the local planning and zoning department, hiring a building contractor or engineer to design the utility layout, securing permits, laying the lines, and connecting the utilities.

Charging your EV every night isn’t always necessary. Most EVs have sufficient range to cover daily commutes without needing a nightly charge, particularly if you have a Level 2 charger. Charging once every few days or as needed can prolong the battery’s lifespan.

Yes, you should get a quote or an estimate from an electrician. Most electricians offer free estimates or quotes. When getting quotes, do your research and verify each electrician’s license. Get quotes from three different electricians to compare. If the prices or items listed appear different on the quotes, ask the electrician to clarify. Learning as much as you can about the electrical work you want done will help you get the most accurate estimate.

You can plug your electric car into a regular 120-volt household outlet only if you’re using a Level 1 charger. This method is slower and may take several days to fully charge your EV. For faster charging, you’ll need a Level 2 charger, which requires a 220- or 240-volt outlet.
