Hired Anthony Everly for multiple jobs related to my new home purchase. Communication was terrible, very unreliable, and I am not sure how but he billed my credit card directly at times without my approval. I have not been able to get him to provide justifications for the expenses/direct charges. I will definitively not use him again and am contemplating options to make sure the charges stop, perhaps even get refunded.

I hired Everly Electrical Contracting to replace a GFCI breaker at our mountain home in Silverthorne, CO. The electrician originally scheduled the work for Sunday, June 8, but canceled late that afternoon. He rescheduled for Monday, completed the breaker replacement, and was professional during the visit. However, the breaker tripped again later that night. I contacted him Tuesday morning, and he agreed to return under the original service call. We scheduled a follow-up for Saturday morning between 9:30 and 11:30 AM, and he sent two confirmation emails. We drove up from Denver specifically for this appointment. Due to a traffic delay at the Eisenhower Tunnel, I texted him to let him know we were running about 10 minutes late. He responded that he was in the same traffic delay, which confirmed that we were still on track to meet. We arrived and waited at our house — but he never showed up. Despite multiple text messages and two voicemails, I received no further communication. This was a complete waste of our time and a highly unprofessional experience. The fact that he acknowledged the delay but then disappeared without explanation or follow-up makes it worse. Based on this, I would not recommend this contractor to others.

"Our technician drove out from Colorado Springs to Silverthorne over 2.5 hours for your circuit to be overloaded by your personal belongings it was wired as one circuit for the garage, entry, front and back doors,as well as general use plugs, then you added your security and outdoor cooker to the same 15 amp circuit. We offered a new dedicated circuit and you declined that option. Our technician drove up again got stuck in traffic however once he was on site there was no one around and your neighbor said no one was home and had not seen you for a few days. We have gps on all trucks and see that our technician got there late due to the mountain pass tunnel being closed yes, but we also can see he spent an hour Parked on your street trying to reach out via phone so it is not our fault your circuit is overloaded by your belongings the only way to fix that is to take things off that circuit and lighten the load on that breaker and you did not want to proceed in that manner based on cost. Our first trip out you were very specific that you only wanted to change the old breaker which we did a week before you requested a second visit for the overloaded circuit."
