"Try as you might, theres no way youre going to please everybody these days. We did a fine job on the floor. The client payed us. Later we recieved a phone call complaining about a misplaced seam in the repair we did. Also that there was some warping. I came out to look at the situation. Because wood is a natural it is often unpredictable. The seam they are reffering to was within Nofma specifications. They simply didnt like it. The patchwork was installed and sanded flat to blend with the rest of the floor. So the floor was completely flat upon completion of the project. It had to have been subjected to more moisture to have warped again. I told them I would be glad to fix it regardless of responsibility. However we have been extremely busy taking care of other scheduled clients whom most had to leave their homes while the work was being done. Its more a lack of patience than any workmanship error that we would gladly taken care of. Had the situation been more of an emergency we would dropped what we were doing to deal with it. The complaints were regarding minimal cosmetics. We feel this review is unfair."
"As explained, the dark spots could not have been sanded out of the floor. They were caused by standing moisture that stained the wood deeply. This floor was in terrible shape. We did the best we could with what we had to work with. And we gave you a pretty good deal to boot. Regardless I am grateful for the review. Any other floor company out there will tell you, this is a tough business!"
"Michelle, I am sincerely sorry that you feel this way. I must say that I am surprised to be reading this review as we discussed via email just two days ago that you are on my schedule to be fit in as soon as possible to repair your floor. I would to again explain to you that what you are experiencing is an acclimation issue and not improper installation. Again when we started your job, delivery of the flooring came and I suggested we keep it inside the home for proper acclimation. At this point I was advised that storing the flooring inside the home was not an option. So I accommodated your request against my better judgement. For this Miche"
"I am sorry you are not satisfied. The circumstances involved in doing this floor made it difficult to make the end result perfect. We did the best we could with what we had to work with. If there was dust in the finish, it was blown in after the fact. Had you just called me and explained I would have probably ultimately given you another coat. I was not given the opportunity. With all said, I feel this review is unfair."
