"The landscaper showed up within the agreed upon time frame (which was quite a few more days out than I had hoped for and needed), he dug out around the pipe stem and unscrewed the broken pipe cap and screwed on another one. (I had assumed it was broken and would need to be replaced further into the ground and cemented.) Took all of five minutes, most of which was finding a tool on the truck and taking it back to the truck. The minimum charge of $140 for a service visit ended up being a bit steep."

We had very specific problems we needed addressed, flooding in the back yard, we are on a very busy corner so we wanted protection against drivers ending up in our bedroom, privacy in our front bedroom, we have a telephone pole in our back yard, a pool we want to feel private even though we live across from the high school, and three kids who need space. They designed a stunning front and back yard that addressed all our issues. Even took into account our location at the high school and added boulders for kids to wait on so they wouldn't trample my yard! I love succulents and California natives so those were used throughout. A rotation of plants were utilized as well so even in the winter we have nice colors through our yard. They are a joy to work with and skilled in their craft. Their attention to detail and practical knowledge yields amazing results that you can enjoy for years."

"We worked with Sequoia Outdoor Design and Build on our backyard and front yard to improve drainage problems and spruce up the exterior as it hadn't been touched in over a decade. Will and the Sequoia team instantly stood out among the rest of the estimates we received as he suggested a number of different options that would be functional, drought tolerant and achieve the aesthetic we were looking for, while staying within our budget. Our job was extensive, including the demolition of an old concrete patio and driveway, installation of french drains, pavers, turf, and lights along with some drought tolerant plants. Like most remodel projects, there were a couple hiccups along the way with some defective batches of materials and delays beyond the team's control. There were also some minor issues that had to be corrected along the way, but the team was keenly aware of the details and made sure to resolve these quickly. Throughout the process, Will was highly communicative, patient and responsive to our questions pre-, during, and post-installation. We appreciate that the crew worked hard to keep us on schedule and minimize delays when possible. While we're waiting to see what the next season of storms might bring, if we had to do it all over again, we wouldn't hesitate to work with Will and Sequoia Outdoor Design and Build and highly recommend them."
