"It went so much better than I had hoped.   I can't say enough good things about my experience.   When I saw the completed job, I was absolutely shocked that they were able to transform my patio from what it was into what it is now.  It looks absolutely wonderful.  Fantastic.  General debris was removed.  My ficus and bouganvillia were both terribly overgrown.  They  were heavily pruned and now look great.  My fatsia japonica was also overgrown since it had not been trimmed in over 20 years and now looks beautiful too.  My hydrangea (which I thought was, as they say,  on its last leg and could not be saved) was cut way back and I was instructed about how to care for it as it grew back.  Dead plants were removed from both the ground and also from some pots I had.  My geranium was pruned and a Lady Banks rose was also pruned in such a way that it will be possible to train it to grow along the fence using some wires, if I get permission to put wires along the fence from the condo association.  I also have three cordalynes (at least I think that is what they are) which have grown from 1-2 feet when I first planted them to about 10-12 feet now.  Nothing has ever been done with them and they were looking somewhat ragged.  They were also cleaned up and now look really beautiful too.  Some leftover compost  I had lying around was spread out over  an area that had been nothing but weeds.  Chairs that could be folded and stacked, were.  I can't say enough good things about the transformation that they did.  They even put  all the refuse in a dumpster since we don't have curbside pickup or recyling of plant material at the condo complex that I live in.

"We worked with Sequoia on a backyard project (expansion and drainage) this past summer (2023). We loved working with Will. He had great ideas and was flexible and open to considering and incorporating our ideas- which turned into an absolutely beautiful space. He was also willing to work within our budget. In fact, he recommended a tweak to our original ideas to maximize our funds and as a result, we have a much more beautiful, practical, and useable space. Regarding drainage, I am happy to report that after all the rain so far this season, we have been waking up to a completely dry patio. Each storm has brought massive amounts of water that have drained perfectly. As a comparison, last year we had a swap in multiple parts of the yard. It may not be where you want to spend your budget, but if you have drainage problems, it is well worth it. Side note, we also referred Sequoia to a friend who had a smaller budget project, and they did a beautiful job for them as well. Therefore, no job too big or too small. Cannot wait to use our yard this summer. Highly recommend!"

"We have a patio area with a translucent roof and wanted to have more protection to be able to area in cooler weather. The roof has a slope so a triangular shaped transom was also necessary above the curtain rods. The estimator created a design and recommended hardware. In addition to the curtains, Acme created and installed 2 awnings. We visited the showroom / factory to choose our fabric and were very impressed with their work on display. During installation one of the transoms did not quite fit and it was very quickly remade and installed. Everyone we met at the company was courteous and professional. We highly recommend this company.
