"The concrete and gate install went relatively quickly. The patio cover required permits which took some time. Once received, the patio went up quick and the planter brick repair was also quick. Overall a good partnership that I will hire again."

"We hired FTR services for a complete remodeling of our garage. Everything went really well. Rafi was very accurate in all aspects starting from cost and all the way to time line of when everything could be completed. Rafi and his team always kept us inform and made sure we'll know exactly whats going on; furthermore, he was available 24/7 to answer any concern we might have. we would definitely hire his services again in the future ."

"John was available to start the work on a Friday afternoon. He installed the new outlet competently and completely. However, John made three trips to Home Depot to pick up supplies. The store is only 2 miles from my house and the first trip took over an hour. He needed to come back the following morning to complete the work because he needed two longer screws. Finally, he had quoted $200-250; but charged me $300 because the "supplies cost nearly $100.""

"They had to do a lot of things.  Most of the people I worked with were great.  It took three months to finish the work.  They were all ready to go ahead and do the work.  They were responsive and tried to figure out what to do.  It was not entirely a perfect process.  Most of the part it was not their fault.  There was some frustration at times.  The pool, however, looks great.  The person I contacted in the company was super responsive.  She was great.  They were definitely responsive.  They did what they needed to do.  When we filled the pool it did not fill up since the pool was leaking.  They had to completely redo it.  It turned out that the electrostatic value was left open.  I had to keep filling the pool until they figured out the problem and got an extra $300 water bill."

"I bought a house with no foundation under one bedroom. Also had just one large bathroom. Got quotes from 3 contractors to tear down bedroom, build 2 new bedrooms, gut the bathroom and create 2 small bathrooms in the space. Joe was half the price of the other contractors. I was worried about being too cheap, but the reviews looked good. Joe's work has been top level. Tile in the bathrooms looks amazing. Good quality and excellent installation. Windows and doors he uses are much better than Home Depot level. My son who works for a window manufacturer was impressed. I requested rounded corners on the walls- his guys cut the baseboards to fit the rounded corners perfectly- not an easy job I know. Joe has been very helpful with suggestions, and willing to make the few changes I eventually requested. Communication great at every step of the way. Get a quote from others, then talk to Joe. I am officially impressed. Highly recommended."

Install Above Ground Pools questions, answered by experts

The most expensive part of building a pool is typically the excavation and labor, which can account for 25% to 50% of the total project cost. This is particularly true for inground pools that require significant excavation, potentially including the rental of large equipment, and extensive construction labor. In contrast, above-ground pools are generally less expensive as they typically do not require excavation and can be installed much more quickly. Concrete in-ground pools are among the most labor-intensive options.

You can avoid pool collapse—known as pool pop in an inground pool—if you follow the instructions on how to drain your pool safely. Wait for a temperate, dry day and slowly remove the water with a sump pump, hose, or the attached drains and hydrostatic plugs.

Installing an infinity pool takes up to 12 weeks. It can take as long as 20 weeks if you have a complex design, are building a pool in an inaccessible area, or face weather-related construction delays. Either way, this is a big job that requires a lot of time and labor to get it right. Pool construction is not a job that should be rushed, as poor installation can lead to expensive recurring repair costs.

The cost to maintain a pool depends on its size and condition. A one-time pool cleaning session costs around $250, and regular weekly maintenance costs $25 to $40 per week. You can get a discount if you buy services in bulk. Regular pool maintenance helps limit the number of repairs and identify signs of trouble.

The best paver for your pool deck depends on your budget, style, and how much maintenance you’re willing to invest. Granite is one of the best low-cost pavers for pool decks. It’s very slip-resistant and durable, too, making it a top pick. Travertine is a high-quality material that resists freeze-thaw cycles, looks stunning, and won’t get hot in the summer. The only downside to travertine is that it costs more than granite.
