"Amazing! Coming into a house they had a lot of built up grime and odors. I had someone come in before and do a deep clean, and it just wasn’t good. I hired LB janitorial, and they cleaned things so well! In a small area where the original cleaners had cleaned, LB Janitorial found a whole bag of gross junk! Every room smells and look great! This process doesn’t necessarily require soap or detergent, but it definitely helps. You can get by with just using water, but remember, brick requires a lower-than-average pressure level when compared to concrete, so forgoing detergent increases the time it takes to spot clean stains and debris once you finish with the pressure washer. Brick is especially porous, so the less water you use on it, the better.

You should wait until your pavers have completely dried and cured before pressure washing them. Wait at least three to five days, though some sealants may need up to an entire week. Rushing that timeline can mess with the finish, weaken the seal, or leave streaks that are tough to fix. Once the sealant has fully set, stick to a gentle approach. Keep the pressure under 1,500 PSI and hold the nozzle at least two feet from the surface. Anything stronger or closer can blast the joint sand loose or wear down the sealant you just applied.

Cedar shake siding requires regular cleaning, or else it will grow mold and algae. However, a pressure washer can easily damage your cedar shakes if the water pressure is too high. While a pressure washer is certainly powerful enough to remove old and peeling paint, this is not a great idea to do yourself. The pressure washer is so powerful that you could actually damage the walls as you strip away the paint. It’s best to leave paint stripping to the pros. 

No, you should not pressure wash or power wash roof shingles, including asphalt shingles. The high water pressure from these machines is too strong and can damage the shingles by forcing water underneath, loosening their adhesive, and causing them to fall off. A safer and better alternative is soft washing with a pump sprayer. To ensure the job is done safely without causing damage, it is best to hire a local roof cleaner.
