"I needed a electrician to help me as I'm selling my house and needed some things fixed. I called cosmic comfort and they were very polite. The lady got someone out for me the very next morning. They sent me text messages for reminders and even sent me a message that he was on his way. The young man who came was fantastic! He fixed all of my outlets, fixed wiring issues and installed a ceiling fan and mounted the remote to my wall. Not only was he very knowledgeable he was very polite and professional. Fixed all my issues and was fast. I definitely would recommend any one needed a electrician to use this company. I will definitely be using them again for any other electrical needs."

"Handyman JC was on time and courteous. I needed some help with my AC, re-caulking my tub, and a special carpentry project (I needed a removable screen above my front door to keep birds out). Price was reasonable. I have more projects and plan to contact him again in the near future!"

"Hector came by and gave me a quote. Explained what I needed done to setup my level 2 EV Charger from Electrify America. They came out, showed up early. Got everything done on a timely manner, Even hardwired the station, instead of installing an outlet. Hook up my Car before they left and everything is charging and working great. Customers say: True professional

"Lano came out and saved the day! My garbage disposal was acting up and had my sink backed up along with it. He must have jumped in the van right away because he was here quick. He’s a great plumber and knows what he’s doing. He was able to figure out the problem and get us back up and running again in no time. His price was very fair too! I would recommend Lano to anyone with a plumber/handyman type need. Thank you Lano!"

Bathroom Fan Installation questions, answered by experts

Ceiling fans are very often worth the investment because they improve comfort in your living space and help reduce utility bills. In the late spring and early fall—and even in the summer in some areas—homeowners with ceiling fans can often get away with open windows and fans, which can cut down on cooling bills and also reduce wear and tear on the HVAC system. Over time, ceiling fans can pay for themselves by saving you money on electric bills and air conditioner repair and maintenance.

To convert a ceiling fan to wireless, you’ll need to install a canopy module to access the lighting and fan controls. Many options are available, all of which help you control specific elements of your ceiling fan, so you have plenty of choices depending on your needs.

Before committing to this new project, you’re likely weighing the pros and cons of attic fans. The good news is that typical roof vents can only ventilate 150 to 300 square feet per unit, whereas a single attic fan can circulate enough air to vent an entire attic. By moving large volumes of air within and out of the attic space, an attic fan can lower the temperature by 15 to 40 degrees Fahrenheit and reduce moisture to prevent mold and mildew.

A whole-house fan works best to pull chilled and dry air into your home in the early morning hours and at night. This system allows you to close your windows after turning off the fan and trap the cool air inside. You can run your whole house fan continuously for maximum ventilation and fresh air, or you can turn it on for ten minutes or so at a time to introduce cool, fresh air as needed.

When choosing a mounting bracket, you have the option between flush mounts and downrod mounts. Flush mounts are the better option for low ceilings as they feature a lower profile. Downrod mounts are the optimal choice for rooms with high ceilings as they offer a pole that adjusts the height of the fan.
