"The owner responded quickly and came to our home for a free estimate within hours. He recommended installing a new outlet to prevent electrical issues down the road. The job was completed within 72hrs (due to the weekend) and we were very happy with the work. I would highly recommend and will use them again for future needs."

"I had a problem with the airgap and the garbage disposal. I also needed some help with low water flow in one of my showers. Lano helped me resolve all my problems very promptly and professionally. He is very competent and does the job efficiently. I would hire him back for any of my other handyman needs as well."

"in the beginning i got 3 quotes, his was the highest but I like him because i felt he is more knowledgeable and personable. He came the next day after we had an agreement. the work was good except that when he laid the landscape wire in my yard I asked him to run it next to my retaining wall to better hide it. However, that was not done. He completed 95% of the work and told me he would come back and complete the work. A week later he finally completed the project. M&M basically does great work."

Bathroom Fan Installation questions, answered by experts

Yes, you can run an attic fan with the AC on. In fact, you don’t have a choice with a passive attic fan. Plus, when an attic fan draws out hot air from the attic, it helps regulate the temperature of your whole home, so your AC doesn't have to work as hard.

Yes, ceiling fans come with a few other features that help with function, style, and convenience. Multi-speed fans can give you specialized control over the airflow. Consider getting one with an integrated light to save ceiling space. Some ceiling fans come with a remote control that enables you to change direction without climbing a ladder. Of course, you can also consider installing a wall switch to enjoy that convenience.

Ceiling fans are very often worth the investment because they improve comfort in your living space and help reduce utility bills. In the late spring and early fall—and even in the summer in some areas—homeowners with ceiling fans can often get away with open windows and fans, which can cut down on cooling bills and also reduce wear and tear on the HVAC system. Over time, ceiling fans can pay for themselves by saving you money on electric bills and air conditioner repair and maintenance.

You should generally avoid using WD-40 on a ceiling fan. While it might quiet a squeak temporarily, it is primarily an anti-corrosion and water displacement agent, not a true lubricant, and can damage the fan's components over time. Most modern ceiling fans have sealed bearings and do not require oiling, so a squeak may indicate another issue. For fans that do require lubrication, it is better to use a light machine oil, 30-weight motor oil, or a lubricant specifically designed for ceiling fans.

To convert a ceiling fan to wireless, you’ll need to install a canopy module to access the lighting and fan controls. Many options are available, all of which help you control specific elements of your ceiling fan, so you have plenty of choices depending on your needs.
