"The guys were great! They did an excellent job for me. One particular task was hanging a new chandelier. However, I wasn't sure if the one I really wanted to put up was going to work in my space. They patiently held the chandelier up to the ceiling (it was not light) while I tried to make up my mind. I had gotten an alternate for comparison. This was an expensive investment for me and I wanted it to be just right. I settled on my first choice, Tom installed it and it's perfect! I love my new pantry, and all of the other repairs which they did are really excellent. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. They were very nice and did a wonderful job.

"Excellent customer service! I was able to get an appointment quickly. Jeff explained the process thoroughly taking time to answer my questions, got to work and did a great job cleaning the ducts in my 22 year old home. Amazed at the difference in airflow now! Friendly professional service. Affordable pricing. Highly recommend!"

"The side stairs were painted and steps were replaced securely.  This was done very well.

However, the side porch seemed to need more paint, which I did myself after RR left.
The back deck was painted well, for the most part, as were the boards replaced as needed, and the front of the deck was fixed and painted as needed.  However, the first 13 oldest boards (dated from 1985) seemed to need more paint as
they appeared not to match in color and tone the deck boards that had been added on in 2002.

Therefore, after RR left, I went and bought the same type of paint--they had left cans of paint so I knew the number and where these gallons were purchased.  I painted the oldest boards 2 more times until the color matched.

The water pipe was fixed well as we no longer hear the banging noise.

No, I would not hire RR again.  I am 72 years old and it is not easy to repaint what was needed.  My husband doesn't like to complain.

"The furnace took 4 days to get approved( not counting a Sunday) the others were quick but the water heater had to be ordered so without hot water for a week. One ceiling fan was easy but within a year their policy changed and They would not install the one I purchased and had to get a new one approved and then ordered online and took several weeks to get straightened out. Not sure who was at fault, AHS, installer or scheduling with renter. Fee is usually $75 per visit"

Ceiling Fans questions, answered by experts

Coffered ceilings often come with additional embellishments and accessories, including tin panels, medallions, trim, molding, recessed lights, and finials. Whether you’re looking for a simple grid pattern or want an elaborate, decorative ceiling with all the bells and whistles, there are plenty of options to choose from.

There are several telltale signs to let you know that your ceiling fan needs servicing or replacement. For instance, if it’s wobbling, rotating too slowly, or if your ceiling fan is making noise such as squeaks, buzzes, and thumps, it’s time to have it looked at by a professional. Not only may it indicate a potential problem with the fan itself, but it could also signal a red flag that it’s improperly assembled or there’s an issue with the wiring.

The more surface area that a ceiling fan blade has, the more effective it will be at producing airflow. Therefore, a longer ceiling fan blade is the better option if you’re looking for more wind. However, a longer blade will consume more energy than a shorter blade.

There are many types of ceiling fans, from self-automated smart ceiling fans to outdoor ceiling fans that provide additional comfort to your patio. What you choose all comes down to function and personal taste.

Consider your ceiling height when selecting a ceiling fan. Rooms with ceilings under eight feet high will do well with low-profile ceiling fans, also known as flush-mount or hugger ceiling fans. If your home has cathedral ceilings or ceilings between 10 and 25 feet high, you’ll need a large ceiling fan with a heavy-duty motor to get adequate air circulation.

To convert a ceiling fan to wireless, you’ll need to install a canopy module to access the lighting and fan controls. Many options are available, all of which help you control specific elements of your ceiling fan, so you have plenty of choices depending on your needs.
