"Dave, the service guy arrived right on time and started checking out the door & track. He removed the door & found the rollers were in good shape, not worn, but very clogged with dirt. One of the rollers was frozen and would not turn at all. Dave cleaned, lubed & adjusted the rollers, cleaned the track and re-installed the door. It now operates as smoothly as when first new. Dave also showed me where to oil periodically to keep the rollers operating smoothly."

"Excellent work. We purchased natural cherry cabinets in shaker style, with the panels made of solid wood rather than veneer. That is more difficult work, as each panel has to be constructed from several planks. Moreover, the clear finish would leave any flaws more visible. Simply put, the doors are beautiful--flawless in both construction and finish. They are similar in quality to custom cherry furniture we own."

"Corona painting is definitely superior, and we highly recommend them! Lupe, Frank, & bro-in-law are honest hardworking guys who really know their work. I had questions about different color combinations, and they gave a lot of suggestions, which helped in our decision. They "have an eye" for color & design. They did four days of prep work before the first coat of paint went on the house, which included some minor repairs, fascia board repair, and filling thousands of nail holes on the wood siding(which no painter had ever done in 44 years). After washing down the house, they cleaned all the windows! They used a superior paint which appears will last for many many years. They painted in places we weren't expecting--like on the foundation that shows below the wood siding, and other details that are just a part of the way they do their job. Since the paint job, we ordered a new garage door, which Lupe offered to come back out (35 miles) to paint.
They were here promptly every morning and worked hard all day long. Each day they left everything clean & tidy. They are super nice, polite, trustworthy guys who CARE about their work, and want their customers happy and satisfied. The price sounded high, until we found out "we got  what we paid for", with NO regrets. When we need more painting done, we will definitely hire them again.

Doors questions, answered by experts

On average, sliding glass patio doors can last between 20 and 30 years. Their actual lifespan depends on several factors, including proper installation, frequency of use, and regular maintenance of the sliding components. While this is the typical range, minor problems and the need for occasional repairs or part replacements can still occur. Addressing issues as soon as they arise and performing regular maintenance will help extend the door's life. If the door is older and requires frequent or significant repairs, it may be more cost-effective to replace the entire unit.

Yes, if you’re replacing a door slab, it must be the exact size of your existing door. If your new door is too small, you’ll need to purchase a new door to fit or hire a handyperson to make your frame smaller. Or if it's too big, you’ll need to return it or shave it down to fit.

To move a couch through a narrow doorway, first measure the couch and the doorway to ensure it will fit. For a close fit, you can create more space by removing the interior door; tap out the hinge pins with a nail and shift the door sideways to remove it from its hinges. You may need to turn the couch on its side or move it in separate pieces, if possible. Using furniture sliders can also help you slide the couch through the doorway.

To maintain commercial doors and prolong their lifespan, regularly inspect and tighten hinges, lubricate locks and moving parts, and check weatherstripping for air leaks. For automatic doors, it is also important to clean the sensors to prevent costly repairs.

Yes, but adding a deadbolt to some door materials, like steel, may make installation a little bit trickier. For these materials, you will want to hire a locksmith to do the work for you, but be aware that they may charge an additional fee of $25 to $50 or more.
