Don was here early and didn’t waste any time getting to work. He was pleasant and knowledgeable. He explained my options and got right to work once we agreed.

Don contacted me and came 15 mins early which was great. He was professional, knowledgeable, pleasant and didn’t waste any time once he was here.

Technician arrived on time and worked quickly and neatly, using parts I had already purchased.

Super, The office manager was courteous and made a full explanation of when the contractor would inspect and when and how the estimate would be provided. They sent an itemized and detailed estimate of repairs that included a breakdown of labor and materials. We were able to select what items were most critical and were given contact information to discuss with the contractor. The contractor called promptly and we made adjustments. He was flexible in every respect and we were happy with the work.

Mr. Fixit is always on time, professional, reasonably priced and adequately skilled to perform the tasks required.

The window took three tries. One was not the right size. The second cracked as it was put in. The third went in but the putty never dried properly.

Great work. No problems incurred. Jim is very friendly and easy to work with.

Very well on all of these. So well that when we need something done, we simply call and schedule without estimates or bids.

I couldn't have asked for better service at a fair price.

Disappointed with service I received after reading previous reviews. My experience with Mr Fix It was unprofessional, disrespectful of my time, and overpriced. After showing the owner everything I wanted done (>10 different things), I received an estimate via email from office staff. I didn't realize it at the time but the total quoted for all the work at the bottom did not add up to what the individual pieces were - it was lower by hundreds of dollars. It's simple math folks, the customer should not have any worry you can't quote things right. I decided NOT to do some of the items on my list. When I requested to only do part of the work, I was sent a new estimate via email. The total DID NOT CHANGE. And it was wrong again! This is when I noticed the problem. A little aggravated I asked them to complete 1 item quickly that I needed fixed before family visited. They scheduled to arrive between 830-900am on a weekday. I rearranged my work schedule to meet them there. I get a call at 815 from the owner saying he'll call me when he's coming (I had assumed the call was that he WAS coming). Fast forward to 915am, I call him back and he said he "didn't expect to be so tied up" (but I was supposed to be the first appointment) and he'll be at my house at "about 10". At this point I had already missed a meeting at work and would miss another. We rescheduled to 130pm the same day. I called at 115pm to check and he said he'll call me when he is coming. Finally at 145pm he calls that he's 15 minutes away. I arrange to go home at 2pm. At which time I get a call from the guy who is actually going to do the work (to my surprise it wasn't who I had been talking to all day) that he was another 15 minutes away. The work itself took 30 minutes, simple remove and replace the inner working of toilet. I was charged $55 for parts (same product in stores for $20-25) and $95 for labor. Grossly overpriced. No issue with the quality of the work itself, just the entire experience was sub par. It seemed like they affected my entire day to do something extremely simple.

Good quality work although it took longer than expected. But I would definitely hire again.

Dave, the service guy arrived right on time and started checking out the door & track. He removed the door & found the rollers were in good shape, not worn, but very clogged with dirt. One of the rollers was frozen and would not turn at all. Dave cleaned, lubed & adjusted the rollers, cleaned the track and re-installed the door. It now operates as smoothly as when first new. Dave also showed me where to oil periodically to keep the rollers operating smoothly.

Provider arrived promptly, was professional and quick. Jim really is knowledgeable and assessed the cause, then fixed my window problem in no-time. I will use him again in the future.

I called long distance after checking with Angie's List.  Jim answered my call and kindly responded immediately.  Checked out the alarms that had been chirping for several days even after being serviced.  Resolved the issue and stayed long enough to make sure everything was okay.   Punctual and professional.  I will call him again and highly recommend.

I'm satisfied with the work done but do feel the price was a bit on the high side. The only thing I regret was that we had a miscommunication on the tv installation part. I misunderstood and thought they could help with actually putting my stereo system together with TV, dvd player. Apparently, they meant only that they can put away the wires through the wall if the wires were preset/prehooked already on the back of the systems (I just moved into a new home and they were all disconnected).  I should have clarified that with Jim on the day he came to do the estimate because I thought it was a great deal compared to geek squad (the quote I was given) for the tv installation part.
