"Val-Arm came out to my house on short notice and provided an accurate quote to restore the concrete on my driveway, my porch, and the walkway around the front of my home. The house is for sale and they were able to scheduling me quickly and work around a couple of showings. There workers were very professional and answered all of my questions.
The work itself is absolutely stunning. I had no idea that my cracked concrete could be made to look so amazing without replacing everything. Their process is fairly simple in that they make cuts into the concrete, fill large cracks, grind any rough spots, power wash, then stain the concrete. The final result looks like custom concrete paving slabs or concrete stamps.

I purchased a big deal for this service and it worked out good. I just did not really jell with the designer so I did not use them. I did not like his ideas and did not like how they threw out the dollar amount for the project without knowing what I wanted to do. They are good, but it just did not work for me.

"I have previously worked with them for minor remodels (bathrooms) and decided I needed to do something new to the house and that would add value to it since I am looking into leaving state. I added two new bedrooms with bathrooms and extended my current kitchen for my space, to add an island and a small breakfast area. I had my plans already, all I did was hire them for the construction. But let me tell you it was a good experience. They were there 7-4 latest, and if I wanted minor changes they did them with no problem. I had no minor fixtures everything ran smoothly thank god! "Asi came for the initial visit on time and immediately understood what we wanted.  He suggested upgrading to a more natural colored and textured type of TREX, which for our application was the perfect solution and created the look we desired.  We also had a slightly larger than 120 sq foot space and we needed some steps, none of which were not included in the Angie's list price of $1499, hence the higher cost.  (I had received two other estimates/quote for decking the same space, both were substantially higher and used a lower quality of decking materials.)  After his initial visit, Asi came out again, so that my husband could see the sample decking color I had chosen (and also so I could confirm for myself that I made the "right" color choice for our application.)  He measured for the deck plan and said that they would be back the following week...when the materials came in.  They came early one morning and by the end of the day had the deck foundation completed.  The next day they installed the TREX decking...beautiful job, well constructed, and great workers.  They ran a few boards short because of the steps and came back on the third day... later in the day to finish up.  They were excellent, punctual and clean.  We love our new deck.  It's better than we envisioned.  Thank you Asi and Real Construction crew."
