Best cabinet refacers and refinishers near Sunset Beach, CA

"Last year we decided to remodel our kitchen but since we weren't able to change the footprint, we decided to have the cabinets refinished instead of replaced. The old cabinet bones were solid and still in great shape. We looked for a skilled craftsman who could handle the job and found Claude and we are so pleased that we did. After our initial phone call we had him come over and survey the job and he knew exactly what to do. He brought examples of wood and explained how the stain works for each type of wood. We met him a few times at a warehouse for wood stain and he showed us what brands worked better for certain woods. He then would make a sample and have us decide if that was the color we wanted. This whole process took awhile and he was so patient and willing to change it if we needed it lighter or darker. Once we decided on the wood, style and stain he was able to get to work. We originally had a cooktop but wanted a range so Claude took out the cabinet below the cooktop and added cabinets on either side of the range. He also took out the wall oven and replaced it with a pantry. All of the cabinets and drawers are soft close and we love them! It has almost been a year and all the cabinets still look brand new like he just put them in! We are very pleased with Claude's work and would highly recommend him. He did an amazing job!"

"This is our 2nd time using mrCC.We had cabinets refaced and new countertops in 2007 and we were very satisfied. The job this time isn’t finished yet but, kitchen cabinets are finished. Our cabinet installer/refacer David was exceptional. On time, very pleasant and his craftsmanship was superior. He listened and solved any problems or concerns we had right away. I highly recommend him (and mr cabinets)for kitchen remodel. All the team and office workers are great. I can’t wait to see finished job but, I wanted to give a comment on progress thus far."

"The owner Gabriel is a top notch guy and craftsman. His employee Ricky on our project is very meticulous finish carpenter. They showed up everyday until project was complete. They installed cabinets and moldings.....cannot say how happy we are. Do not be afraid to call Gabriel, pricing very reasonable and workmanship is excellent."

"Jerry and his team were amazing. This is true craftsmanship like you don't see any more and the value for the price is absolutely unbeatable. Jerry was prompt to respond, easy to work with upfront and honest with the quote and the finished product completely exceeded our expectations. JLT used our existing wood cabinets and made them look better than new, they are stunning in white and the finished multi-coat paint process results look and feel unbelievable. Do not even waste your time considering a vinyl veneer refinish, JLT can do the job with unbelievable attention to detail at a fraction of the cost and in the end leave you with what looks like a brand-new custom kitchen. The job took about 3 1/2 weeks and was worth every minute of the wait. The work was done by hand and the crews were friendly and respectful of our home as well as nice guys to get to know and speak with. Highly, highly recommend JLT Kitchen Refinishing."

"This is the second time I have used Specialty Design Coatings. The first time was to refinish all my interior wood cabinets. It is because they did such a wonderful job that I hired them again to paint the outside of my home. Kaveh is one of the most responsive and professional owner/operators I have ever worked with. His team is also professional, polite, and provide a high-quality end product. Five stars across the board!"

"Very accommodating and gave good advice. Cabinets look new."
