Commercial Wood Flooring Refinishing Service
This was our first review in years. Their pricing was competitive. During refinishing, they kept everything clean and covered. After six months, some issues appeared with the products used. They came back and refinished at no extra cost. They are one of the best contractors we have worked with.

Jorge was one of the most genuine, hardworking and honest individuals I've met during my time working with many different contractors. He's exceptionally knowledgeable in his field and is nice enough to share tips and tricks that will help you. He refinished my hardwood floor in my whole home and installed the base board. With both projects he exceeded my expectations. He doesn't over charge and he does great work. Both him and his partner are some of the nicest individuals I've met. I told him I got lucky to have found him and his company because I don't think I would have found such great work at a great price. I will be having him come back to do my wood cabinets and anything I might need. Don't think twice let AK hardwood do your floors and you won't be disappointed.

Wood Flooring Repair or Partial Replacement
Jorge was great and polite. He came with Pedro and both did a good job with finishing the transitions and flooring I needed help with. They did their best to be clean and tidy and the work was done under 4 hours. He let me name my price and since it was a good job, I think it was worth it. I appreciate that he was able to come by the very next day, even came on Sunday.

Jorge went extra mile to sand parquet floors, made sure we liked color of stain, then applied final coat of varnish. Helped us move some furniture. Very reasonable for professional job! Hiring him again to stain some doors, then coat with varnish.

We worked with Jorge to set up the job and he was in touch the whole time. Everything happened on schedule. The, very old, floor came out looking better than new. The crew worked very clean and always asked if we were ok with the job and how things were going. After getting a number of bids we thought the price was very good and don't know how the finished product could have been better. We would work with AK Hardwood again and have recommended them to our neighbor.

I called Jorge at AK Hardwood Floors after our floors had been redone by a company that did not know what they were doing and almost ruined our floors using the wrong stain. We were distraught, financially strained, and desperate. We also had been out of our home for approximately three weeks and couldnâ t afford to be out much longer. Jorge was willing to accommodate our schedule by rearranging his workload and his price was fair and affordable. Jorge and his crew did a phenomenal job on our floors and exceeded our expectations 100%. I couldnâ t believe how beautiful the floors came out after the nightmare stain job the other company had done. They repaired and restored our floors and we are so grateful to him and his wonderful crew. I highly recommend this company for all your hardwood flooring needs.

These gentlemen took a very difficult job, two other companies did not want to take it! They explained the process and pros and cons of the job. I was able to make an informed decision, which was the correct one. They were clean and on time and did the job in a timely manner. The quality of the job surprised my expectations! They took my beat up floor and made it better then I had hoped for. I would.HIGHLY recommend them to my friends and family.

Very responsive to any questions and concerns about any repairs that may or may not be needed. Owner looked at our floor and said he didn't think any repairs were needed and that indeed was the case. Floor turned out beautifully.

They were very professional on time on point, did exactly what they said they were going to do and even went above and beyond expectations to satisfy us. We HIGHLY recommend them. They did a wonderful job for what they had. Our floors were around 100 years old, stained and dirty with holes and missing wood boards from various home projects from the old owners. They sanded down the imperfections, filled the problem points, and stained it a really pretty brown. The top coat varnish is beautiful and Iâ m honestly so happy with the work they did.

All original wood floors except bathrooms and kitchen had been covered with carpet for over 50 years with some pet stains by door ways. They were able to sand stains and carpet glue and cover every staple hole . The wood floors look brand new and are gorgeous!!! Very hard workers and knowledgeable about their trade their professionalism was reassuring during process.
