Will Crawford inspected the concrete slab under the floor and performed accurate measurements of the house leveling inside and outside the house. Despite the uneven floor, he concluded that the house did not need any foundation repair and that the uneven floor was caused by imperfections of the concrete.slab. He spent a lot of time in my house and provided an objective assessment of the house foundations not influenced by considerations of personal advantage. He provided unbiased recommendations about how to improve the floor leveling. I was very impressed by his professional ethics and technical knowledge. "We could not be more pleased with Montesinos Landscape and Design and have recommended them to other neighbors in our new community. I had an idea of what I wanted but an inability to put it down on paper. Jaime very meticulously measured out our yard and came up with the perfect plan, just as I had envisioned it. He and his crew were always timely and worked hard, all day. When we were indecisive at times, he was patient and gave us the time we needed to make decisions without feeling rushed. Maria did all the paperwork for building permits with the county and with our HOA. They laid concrete, put in artificial turf, border areas for planting, a water feature, put in electricity for overhead lights, and a raised, decorative herb garden/bed. They planted tons of plants for us, including trees, shrubs, climbing roses and ground roses and lots of bedding plants. All have flourished. They also extended our fencing and placed a gate in our existing fence to 'join' our front and back yard areas. Our dog chewed up some of our underground irrigation/pipes which was obviously not Montesino's fault but they replaced it free of charge. We are totally pleased with their work and get lots of compliments on it. We highly recommend Maria and Jaime Montesinos."

"We had already had paid an architect and structural engineer to create blueprints.  My plan was to contact 4 contractors to submit bids for the job.  I found Goodfellas through Angie's List and they had a ton of great reviews, so I went to their website and requested a quote.  In less than 24 hours they contacted me and we scheduled an appointment for the next day.  I met with Danny and showed him the blueprints, and we talked about some other details that we wanted to see from the project.  Danny was very patient and took a lot of time listening to my wants/needs, but also gave some great suggestions on how we could improve the look and feel of the home.  After about an hour and a half, Danny provided me with a detailed quote and was on his way. 
My wife and I continued to interview other contractors, but finally settled on Danny and his team.  Once I let Danny know we were going to go with Goodfellas, he scheduled another appointment with us to go through the contract.  This meeting was substantially longer than the first, but only because Danny is so detail oriented that he wanted to make sure that every possible piece of the project was covered in the contract.  After settling all the details of the contract, we discussed start dates.  Initially, Danny had promised to start about a week after the meeting, however, he called me later that night and said that they could start in a couple days. 
Work started on 11/30/15.  Danny was on-site the first day with his crew walking them through the various aspects of the project.  I was not home at the time to meet all of them, but did get a chance to meet the Foreman, Rudy.  Rudy and his team stayed well past sunset to get some concrete demo work done and were back bright and early the next morning to finish it up.  By the end of the second day they had removed all the old concrete and had dug up the area where the new foundation will eventually be laid.  I am very curious about how this process works and Rudy has been more than willing to take a few minutes to explain things to me. 
The project is still on going, but I know Danny, Rudy and their team are going  to continue to do great work.

"Was very pleased with Val-ARM's service.  Co owner Francesca was prompt & very professional when we met and she inspected property.  As she promised, I had an estimate from her in one week's time.  She then brought two workers out with her several days before work was scheduled just to verify scope of job.  They saw a few complications & estimated more hours to complete but Francesca honored her original estimate to me!  The work was done on time & looks great.  All debris including dead tree roots were removed from the premises & I have peace of mind now that the backyard concrete patios are safe as well as attractive.  Val-Arm was several thousand dollars below another co's bid, which frankly was for less work.  Obviously Val-Arm wanted the job.
