"Would not recommend these people for foundation repair. My appointments were rescheduled 2 times with little to no communication. Took time off of work to be home for the installation and canceled on me that morning. Work quality was ok but definitely too expensive."

Small jobs welcome

"Where do I start? Paul was an absolute pro in completing our very large concrete project. He handled redoing all of the drainage and the job turned out perfectly. He is easy to work with and really knows how to deal with anything out of the ordinary that might come up. Highly recommend Paul at Concrete Pro for any residential project will also use him for some additional retaining wall work. He is my go-to contractor from here on out!"

Customers say: Terrific value

"Todd and the WestPro crew did a very fine job in a difficult working conditions. We had them repair portions of our crawlspace foundation and our perimeter stem wall as well as well as some slab and curbing work in the garage area. Todd shows up when he says he will and goes over everything very carefully with the guys so they are less likely to miss details. Very hard working guys. When he gave me the quote, there was no guess work. He crawled around and measured everything. I wish I could say this about other contractors."

Foundation Repair questions, answered by experts

Yes, you can fill cracks in concrete if you’re a somewhat handy homeowner. It’s important to know which concrete patching method to use, as small cracks require different approaches than large ones. It might seem challenging to determine which product to use and the tools necessary for the project, but with a bit of background, homeowners can restore their cracked concrete easily.

Around 25% of homes have foundation problems - it’s a very common issue. Foundation problems can range from very minor to severe and urgent. Call a foundation inspector to determine the severity of any potential issues you identify with your foundation.

There are many actions that specialists can take to repair a bad foundation. However, just like a car, a specialist will determine whether the cost of repairs is worth it in the long run. In many cases, repairs to the surrounding property—such as regrading your lawn or addressing lawn drainage issues—will also be necessary.

Many horizontal cracks in home foundations result from water and soil pressure from outside of the building or from a footing that is shifting. Under those circumstances, horizontal cracks are a structural problem that requires repair before they become worse and more difficult to fix. However, in very specific cases, thin horizontal cracks may simply be a cosmetic blemish due to concrete shrinkage.

Yes. Water can penetrate through a concrete foundation wall. This can happen whether or not you have cracks, as concrete is a porous material. You’ll want to take steps to waterproof your basement or crawl space.
