They removed the old deck, installed new caissons for proper support, and rebuilt everything from the ground up. The crew was knowledgeable, organized, and respectful of our property. Tal helped us select the new stunning marble slab for the new island that he implemented in the design and the gorgeous chandelier above it because the island that he designed for us included table as well. Tal Mechaly was amazing at selecting all the paint colors combinations and with his design… he was able to pull it all together as one piece of art kitchen. Tal Mechaly was very easygoing person to work with, with excellent creativity skills and his thinking outside of the box ability was beyond believes."

Here at American Home, we take pride in serving our clients throughout what may sometimes seem like an uncomfortable and messy experience. Our main goal is to provide our clients with a wide variety of expertise, knowledge, professionals, and outstanding customer service. American Home Improvement is here to help make your home remodeling experience smooth and affordable. $5000 project minimum.

"We hired AHI to remodel 1 bathroom, paint our interior (with some drywall repair), and install recessed lighting in our home. We began work in early April with an anticipated end date of mid June. The cost of the work was in the middle of the quotes we received. Our experience has been horrible and ended in us ending our contract with AHI and having to hire our own professionals to finish the job as of mid- August when it was still incomplete. -They are not good at communicating. I often would have less than 48 hours notice to get them a piece or material needed or less than a few hours notice that some work was beginning or we needed to come meet them. We had to constantly follow up for updates about the schedule and project. -The first paint crew did not prep at all and painted/ texture sprayed over our outlets, HVAC vents, light switches. They left large drips of paint in multiple locations and got paint/ texture splatter on our flat ceilings, on our windows, and all over our subfloor. The project manager from AHI did not oversee the project an the full home was done before he looked at it. He and foreman agreed the quality was not acceptable and took over a month to schedule a new crew. This crew was better but delayed the project significantly. -Our home was left with 1st floor doors and windows open overnight on multiple occasions. We do not live at the property at the moment but our belongings are there and though we pointed this out to the project manager it happened again. -The crews sent were not managed well- it felt like we got below handyman level quality of work in many areas. In addition to the paint crew they sent someone to paint our bathroom baseboards and he painted all over the wall. The electrician left screws and debris all over brand new wood floors and managed to scratch them plus scratch our new marble in the shower. -They drank beers from our fridge multiple times and left trash all over our home and in front of the house overnight/ for multiple days. We ended the contract with them completely unsatisfied but amicably coming to a financial agreement that settled it. I would strongly recommend that you do not hire AHI unless you are ready to manage the project yourself and be there to supervise their subcontractors as the work is done."
