COIT Cleaning and Restoration of San FranciscoI like to have my carpets cleaned once a year and for the last at least 6-7 years have only used COIT. Ok, I lie, I used Stanley Steamer once when I in a pinch and couldn't get a time slot in time for my event, but my preference is COIT. I live in the Bay Area....my luck, the first time COIT cleaned my carpets they sent Martin out and I've requested him only ever since! Martin is professional, courteous and efficient! I have a small space with carpet, maybe 600 feet. There's a standard base that you will need to pay no matter how small of an area (not sure if that dollar amount varies from location to location), I don't qualify for any discounts and yes, the price does keep going up but that's to be expected. And I'll pay for it since I don't think I can get the same result and I'm not willing to try. Martin is usually here for not even 30 minutes tops and always manages to arrive early. So be prepared! On another note, I can imagine that good workers might be hard to find in this industry. Let's be brutally honest, would you choose to be a carpet cleaner as your profession? Hopefully their managers are treating them well at the least. These people are lugging equipment, coming into your personal space and providing a service. A service that you don't want to do yourself. Be kind. They are only the messenger.- Nicole Q.

Minted MaidsIt went well. They even moved the toaster and cleaned behind the refrigerator, I forgot all about those places. When we did the “walk-through” at the end, I was told that they even disinfected all of the doorhandles, light switches and heavy “hand-traffic” areas in my home. That made me feel sanitary and protected for some reason. I definitely recommend them, they were so thorough. PS, did I mention the booties, they actually wore booties. I couldn't be happier with the service that I got from RestoreX at every point in the process and highly recommend them! They were professional, honest, and cleaned up after themselves! We had a bad water leak under the kitchen floor, the connection on one of the pipes that had been replaced 5 years earlier had failed and the water from the kitchen sink, dishwasher and washing machine was all accumulating under the kitchen floor. I called RestoreX on a Wednesday at about 4:45pm, they asked for the approximate square footage of the area which I gave them and they gave me an estimate over the phone. They sent a service manager out first thing Thursday morning and he established the damage had gone all the way under the dining room floor. He said they'd be out first thing on Friday to do the work, which they did. On Thursday afternoon they sent me a quote that was within the range they had quoted me over the phone even though the area was larger. The work was completed in about two hours and there was no mess left even though they had to take out all the mud under the floor (the water had luckily dried up because we weren't using the appliances). They left a big fan on the outside of the house attached to the duct in the kitchen until the following Wednesday to dry it up and sealed all the vents around the house. The duct collapsed over the weekend, but when I called on Sunday, someone answered and said they'd be out in the morning to fix it, which they did. Fantastic service, thank you RestoreX!

The sales approach at Pak Oriental Rugs is well thought out and very customer friendly. We were able to review their inventory online and so came in with a list of rugs that we were interested in. They were very welcoming and knowledgeable, with no pressure selling. The prices were listed on the rugs. The staff was very accommodating in pulling out rugs and laying them on their large open floor to compare. They helped us narrow down our choices and then allowed us to borrow the rugs to review in our home. We borrowed multiple rugs before finally making our decision. They encouraged us to take our time in assessing the rugs, so that we would feel confident about our final choice. Their approach works!
