"Moving is a difficult, often stressful time, and I was so pleased with the movers and  this moving company!    I will definitely use them again, and based on my experience am happy to recommend them to friends and colleagues.
Making the arrangements for the move by phone was quick and easy.  They quoted me very accurately for the move, which i appreciated - no last-minute unexpected higher costs at all.
The movers arrived within 10 minutes of the scheduled time.   i was grateful they agreed to 9 am and not their 8:30 am usual time, so i had a little more time for morning preparations.
The movers were friendly, but also very professional and knowledgeable about the move.  They were the ideal combination of unobtrusive, but offered advice and reassurance when needed.   They were also extremely fast and efficient - much quicker than i anticipated, and had I been better prepared and had fewer personal items, the move would not have taken 4 hours.
We had expected to have to hoist my sofa from the 3rd floor windows to the ground.   This would have been $100 extra, which i agreed upon during the booking process.   The movers determined onsite that they could move the sofa down the stairwell and not charge me the $100, which i also appreciated.
At the new place they checked with  me on where i wanted each furniture item, so they could set it up for me properly the first time, and were patient about moving boxes that were better suited in a different area, or the storage unit.
i was unsure how and how much to tip them, and so asked them in general what happened, and they were very gracious in how they responded, leaving it up to me, and appreciative of the cash tips received.

"Overall, my experience was very good. The person who helped me with my quote was responsive and personable. We did have some communication issues regarding some of the items we wanted moved. We crews that helped us with the physical move worked very hard and provided solutions when issues came up. The single recommendation I could provide to anyone is be 100% sure everything you want to move is on the digital inventory at least 5 days before moving day. The day of the move, I found things were missing on the digital inventory even though we talked about it."

"I recently used Honest & Fast Movers for three office moves, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed with their service. From the initial quote to the completion of the moves, they demonstrated professionalism and reliability. One aspect that stood out to me was their accuracy in providing quotes. Unlike other companies that often tack on hidden fees, Honest & Fast Movers were transparent and upfront about the costs involved. This level of honesty is refreshing and instills trust in their business practices. Furthermore, their packing skills were top-notch. They handled our office equipment and supplies with care, ensuring everything arrived at our new locations safely and securely. This attention to detail alleviated much of the stress typically associated with moving. Overall, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Honest & Fast Movers to anyone in need of efficient and trustworthy moving services. Their commitment to honesty, accuracy, and quality workmanship sets them apart from the competition. I will certainly be turning to them for any future moving needs."

"I recently used Easy to KZ2 for my move from Millbrae to Santa Clara, and I had an excellent experience. I was moving from a 3-bedroom apartment, and the team handled everything professionally from start to finish. They arrived on time and quickly packed all of my belongings and boxes. What impressed me the most was how carefully they protected my furniture. They first wrapped everything with plastic wrap, then covered it with moving blankets, and finally secured everything with tape. The furniture looked extremely well protected and professionally prepared for transport. The crew was very friendly, communicative, and spoke excellent English. They were also very proactive and took responsibility for making the entire moving process stress-free. I had some items that I originally planned to transport myself, but they carefully packed those as well and assured me that I didn?t need to worry because they would take care of everything. The team worked very efficiently, loading and u"

Moving questions, answered by experts

In San Francisco, moving projects for a two-bedroom apartment typically take 4 to 8 hours, but unique city factors like parking permit requirements, elevator scheduling, and navigating steep streets can extend this time. For long-distance moving projects in San Francisco, expect 2 to 5 days, especially during peak moving season when scheduling and traffic can cause additional delays.

Helpful?

When comparing moving project quotes in San Francisco, be wary of unusually low estimates, lack of mention of parking permits, or vague details about handling stairs and tight spaces. Watch for non-binding quotes, requests for large upfront payments, and missing insurance information. Trustworthy movers will address San Francisco’s unique challenges, such as traffic congestion and building access, directly in their proposals.

Helpful?

San Francisco’s moving projects are affected by shifting weather—summer brings dry days but also heavy fog and high demand, while winter’s rain and slick hills require extra care. Because microclimates can mean foggy or windy conditions in some neighborhoods, it’s wise to prepare for rapid weather changes by using waterproof covers and planning flexible moving schedules.

Helpful?

After completing a moving project in San Francisco, inspect for scuffed floors, chipped paint, or damaged stair railings—especially in older homes with narrow entries. Use floor protection and corner guards during the move. For DIY moves, check your vehicle’s brakes for steep hills. Once settled, anchor heavy furniture for earthquake safety and promptly repair any minor damage from the move.

Helpful?

In San Francisco, moving projects can be handled by full-service movers who pack and transport, labor-only crews for self-moves, and specialists for items like antiques or pianos. You’ll also find eco-friendly moving companies, storage-and-moving hybrids, and professionals focused on senior or corporate relocations, each adapting to San Francisco’s dense neighborhoods and diverse housing styles.
