"This is the second time he came out, checked something, and didn't charge us. We are calling him in a couple of months for a change to our system because are getting electric cars, and I wouldn't call anyone else. He's fair, nice and professional. He's worth calling always first!"

"Paul and Fairway Electric and the technician we work with, Jaime, are the best! It's always wonderful to see Jaime, he's such a pro, and our family truly appreciates the relationship we've maintained with Fairway for over 10 years now, with Fairway handling all our electrical work."

"I hired Ken Johnson (Johnson Electric) to correct a number of electrical problems which were identified in a pre-sale home inspection. Among these was a replacement of an unsafe old circuit panel, all new power outlets, conduits and receptacles. Ken provided a quote which was very reasonable. Actual work was performed by two technicians. They arrived on time, completed the job the same day, and left the site in pristine conditioner. We were very satisfied with their work and based on my experience I am happy to recommend Johnson Electric for quality electrical projects in your residence."

"I completely recommend Electric Zone--Definitely earned five stars. They are awesome, very professional and extremely reasonable. I am thrilled with the work they did upgrading and repairing my electric panel and installing my Tesla 14-50 charge station for 50 amps. I have, in the past had bad luck with electricians. That has now changed and I will be recommending and using Electric Zone whenever I have a need for an electrician."

Electrical questions, answered by experts

Watch for frequent breaker trips during hot weather, flickering lights when multiple appliances run, or outlets that feel warm to the touch in your San Fernando home. Burning odors or GFCI outlets failing near pools or patios are urgent warning signs. Homes with older aluminum wiring are especially at risk, as these issues can quickly escalate in the dry, warm local climate.

Helpful?

In San Fernando, schedule annual inspections of your electrical panel to catch loose or corroded connections, especially before peak summer use. Test GFCI outlets monthly, focusing on outdoor and pool areas. Clean dust from exterior fixtures to prevent overheating, and check surge protectors after storms or utility work. Proactive maintenance helps your system handle the area’s heat and keeps your home’s electrical safety up to date.

Helpful?

Electrical projects in San Fernando often impact interconnected systems like HVAC, pool equipment, or smart home features. If you’re upgrading wiring or your electrical panel, review how these changes might affect your air conditioning, security, or irrigation systems. Planning ahead helps prevent disruptions and ensures your home’s electrical setup supports San Fernando’s climate and the demands of modern technology.

Helpful?

Upgrading electrical systems in San Fernando can boost your home’s value and attract buyers looking for modern features. Improvements like updated panels, solar-ready wiring, and dedicated pool circuits are highly desirable. Adding smart home or EV charging capabilities also appeals to tech-savvy buyers. Homes equipped to handle high cooling demands and current safety standards stand out in the San Fernando real estate market.

Helpful?

When planning electrical projects in San Fernando, consider earthquake safety standards, as homes must be prepared for seismic activity. Ensure your electrical system can handle high air conditioning loads due to hot summers, and check if your panel needs an upgrade—especially in older homes. Fire safety codes, solar-ready wiring, and pool circuit requirements are also important for local homeowners to keep in mind.
