We do not charge for estimates and will gladly try to walk you through your electrical repair over the phone, if you're up to the task. I have been growing in the trades from 1975, from my first job in a lumber yard stacking lumber then building custom furniture as well as obtaining a background in plumbing. This led to my first job as an electrical helper at age seventeen, by the time I was twenty I was in charge of a Los Angeles based Company for seventeen years. We work with and for several Property Management companies and we have remolded a Ritz Carlton from the ground up in MDR. For the last several years we have been part of building many homes from the ground up and several remodels. NO JOB IS TOO SMALL, we work on all levels of service. We treat all customers with the same respect from the beginning of the job to the finish of the project. Goodwill comes back if you respect your customers. Paul was a pleasure to speak with from the beginning. He gave a spot on estimate for how long the job could take and a flat hourly rate plus parts. His tech, Jaime , came and flawlessly installed the 240V outlet needed for EV charger. I will reach out to Paul and his team for any future electrical needs.

Fairway electric has helped me with so many things around my house. They've replaced many light fixtures and even helped me repair a rope light that my dog chewed. Most recently they ran power from an outdoor outlet on my house to the end of my driveway for an automatic gate. They did an immaculate job and everything was so clean and professional. We needed a NEMA 14-50 EV charger installed outdoors for an electric car, and got 3 quotes from Angie's List. Based on the 3 bids, it seemed certain we'd need a subpanel breaker box installed as our main breaker box was full and there were no empty slots to assign to the EV charger. However, only Tommy from Fairway offered up a potential solution within the existing breaker box, if they were able to source a hard to find quad breaker. It seemed unlikely, but would save a lot of hours (new box install / wiring under the house) and money. Sure enough, he source the part and made it happen. On top of that, they were professional and easy to work with. Highly recommend!

I called Paul and told him about the hot breaker box and the pfftzzt sound I heard. He told me to turn off a big breaker and the box started to cool down. He had Tommy come out the very next morning. Tommy was great, friendly, very professional, on time. He found a very loose wire on the big breaker, fixed that and checked everything else and performed maintenance. Some other things were loose too! Price was very reasonable. Very happy!

I have absolutely no hesitation about recommending Fairway Electric, and Paul Harris specifically, for any electrical work you need done. We've used him many times now, having bought an old house in need of updating. He explained everything in terms we could easily understand, solved everything, and discouraged us from doing work he didn't think we needed to do (which other electricians prior to his arrival had said we needed ...). He charged incredibly reasonable prices and the quality was excellent. Before we found him, we had had so many problems with electricians who had to make multiple visits to solve the same problem and charged excessively high rates; we won't ever use anyone else in the future.

I am thinking of getting a countertop oven. The manuals say you need to make sure that the outlet you plan to use can handle 1800W. I emailed Fairway Electric with a photo of the outlet. I got a call back very quickly and Tommy came out by 12:30 pm same day — in fact within two hours of my email. Our house is old, and fortunately Paul had redone our outlet box a number of years ago. Because it this, we already had 20 amp circuits. Tommy and I determined that the outlet could handle the load. Electricity is nothing to mess with, and I am grateful that Paul and his crew are always available to help. The cost was well worth the peace of mind I received.

PERFECTLY! Owner Paul explained everything prior and suggested a very direct and cost efficient way to achieve what I needed. Then electrician Tommy arrived and did the installation and explained everything thoroughly and triple checked all worked properly. I have already recommended Fairway Electric to many of my neighbors and will definitely have them back to do more work as needed!

Paul Harris was extremely helpful when I first spoke with him on the phone. He diagnosed the problem and did his best to get someone to us on the same day. We decided that it wasn't an emergency so he sent a tech out on the morning of the next business day. Everything was repaired perfectly. We'll definitely call Fairway for any electrical issues in the future.

I thought Paul and his installer were rock stars. I bought a new fan and the ceiling fan company where I bought it couldn't do a quick installation so I looked in here at Angies list and found that Paul at Fairway Electric was highly recommended. And the review was more than accurate. Paul responded immediately and had someone out the next day and installed my ceiling fan (something i did NOT want to do myself). And he even charged me a bit less than Paul quoted. Later---there was a frequency problem with the ceiling an light that made it dim occasionally---(caused by a neighbor who had a remote control with a similar frequency). Paul sent his repairman out (no additional charge) and changed the frequency. I'd call Paul back in a millisec if I had another ceiling fan installation or for electrical work based on my excellent experience dealing with him.

Great! Paul Was first to respond to quote request and scheduled our job within a few days of our initial communication. Chris was very courteous, efficient and professional and did a fantastic job, including not making any mess and cleaning up what little there was afterwards, and even took the old ceiling fan off to be replaced-cycled. Fairway Electric will be on my resource list for any future work. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.
