"This company is amazing and affordable! Not long after I moved into my new place a pipe burst in my garage and damaged the ceiling and walls of the garage and the kitchen that is positioned on the other side of the wall. They completed the job very fast and left it looking brand new. I will definitely be reaching out to Ryan if I need more drywall work!"

"I had drywall repair work done earlier this year by David Salinas of Level 5 Drywall and wanted to show my appreciation of the good work that was done. I was only available one Saturday to have it done and I was impressed with all the work that was done in one day and the accommodations made to complete the entire job in a timely manner. David is very knowledgeable about the profession he is in and pointed out things about my ceiling that I never knew regarding the construction. He also has a lot of knowledge in the area of plumbing and gave me some advice on any future plumbing concerns I may have about my home. Overall I came away knowing I was in very good hands with the work, knowledge and the professional way in how everything was done. I highly recommend David Salinas of Level 5 Drywall for any work you may need done."

Drywall questions, answered by experts

Whether you can reuse a drywall anchor depends on its type, material, and how it is removed. Plastic anchors, such as expansion or self-drilling types, are generally considered single-use because they are designed to expand and are likely to break or become deformed upon removal. Metal anchors, like toggle bolts, are more durable and can often be reused if they are not damaged during extraction. However, with toggle bolts, the toggle mechanism can fall inside the wall when the bolt is removed, making it difficult to retrieve. If an anchor is damaged or must be cut for removal, it cannot be reused regardless of its material.

While textured walls can elevate a space in many ways, there are a couple of downsides to consider. Namely, they’re hard to clean, and some textures fall out of fashion quickly. Make sure to consider all your options to find one you truly love before diving in.

Costs depend on damage extent of damage, labor, finishing, and whether mold remediation is needed.

The person’s skill will affect how many drywall sheets they can hang in one day. Some people can hang 10 or more sheets in a day, while others may only hang six or seven sheets. It also depends on the framing complexity since custom cutting and fitting the drywall can prolong the process.

The short answer is yes, a sagging plaster ceiling is dangerous. Sagging plaster on a wall is something you should fix immediately, but it isn’t a major concern. If the same type of sagging occurs on a ceiling, however, you could be in danger of your ceiling falling in large chunks. When plaster sags, it loses its strength and ability to hold itself up. The bonds that hold it together are strong, though, so if a sagging area falls, it will take large pieces down with it.
