We decided on adding 8" of blown-in insulation to reduce our heating/cooling cost and to reduce the cycling of our HVAC system. They did a wonderful job of sealing any attic leaks, covers for our canned lighting fixtures, built a dam around our whole house fan, added baffles around our soffits, and added the insulation. Since our home was built in the 1950's, the insulation throughout the attic was minimal. We hired Insulation Commandos to survey and provide us with the appropriate solution.
