"Scott is friendly and professional. Communication was quick. He was a few hundred dollars less than another company's quote so we hired him. The job took about a day and a half. I rated B on price because it seems like a lot for floor cleaning, but I guess that's what you pay in SoCal! The stone is absolutely clean & shiny, but it wasn't too bad to start. The dingy grout was the reason for the cleaning. Plus, some grout had become missing. Scott replaced the missing grout. However, overall the grout is not as light as when we moved in 2.5 years ago, but Scott assured us he cleaned as clean as it could be. He suspected our maid was using something oily like Pine-Sol, but I found out later they use a stone & granite cleaner, so that's not it after all. I hope the 'clean' lasts longer than a couple of years. If not, we may bite the bullet and replace with engineered wood. Our previous residence had wood and in the 5 years we lived there, it never needed this type of cleaning and always looked gorgeous!"

"If there were an A+ I would have given that grade to Peter and his company. The area that was to have grout removed and redone was immense. Peter did the job in three days. He removed all the grout by hand and his regrout method was so clean. There was no disruption to the family during that time. "Steve's work was excellent. After a very thorough cleaning he resealed and buffed our kitchen counter tops which now look great. Completely happy. We've already used him a second time, to clean and repair a very tricky tile floor. "George laid out what needed to be done and how he'd do it when he came to bid the work and was also willing to complete some of the half-finished work done by a previous, unexperienced contractor. He didn't try to creep the scope during the course of the work and understood our financial constraints. When we found the need to make a few changes, we negotiated a fair price for a few small add-ons. When the wall repair was much more involved than initially estimated, he brought it up but didn't demand reimbursement. I offered compensation based on what we agreed was fair but didn't feel pressured. They did a good job cleaning up after themselves given how messy leveling floors, cutting tile, and grouting seem to be. My only suggestion would be to work with George on every detail beforehand as I had made some assumptions about aesthetics that may not have been particularly conventional but hadn't communicated them to George. Showing images of how you'd want something to look when it's done will go far in insuring you get what you're after. That having been said I was given some good advice from Felipe on what the height of the kitchen backsplashes should be in our particular case, and from George on which grout would be best suited for our floors and have no regrets having followed those suggestions. In our case, we supplied most of the materials as per George's recommendations. If you want your project to move as quickly as possible, I'd suggest making a list with George of what materials you'll need, what you'll be picking up and what he'll be picking up, and having everything ready on the first day because they waste no time in getting the work done. In short, both George and his colleague, Felipe, work very efficiently with a high level of craftsmanship and I'll hire them again the next time I need tile work done."

"The job went very well. John worked with us by performing the work over three move-ins so that we were able to use most of our house during the process. The level of quality is very good including cement floated floors over wood and hot mop tar for waterproofing in the shower. The layout for the tile pattern was right on and Johns recommendations are good and should followed. I am a licensed contractor in another trade so I have a good understanding of doing a job right with a critical eye for workmanship."

"After wour father passed away in January, we decided to keep his home and prepare it for a rental.  As we needed new carpeting and window coverings throughout, we contacted several companies for bids one carpeting and for mini-blinds.
After reviewing Angie's List, we walked into Felikian's on a Saturday morning.  We were immediately greeted by Andre, the manager.  He listened as we explained our situation and then offered to show us samples.  He did not try to up-sell us but rather explained what he thought best for a quality rental property.
We made arrangements for Andre to visit the property to measure the floor and windows.  He called a couple days later and gave us the estimate for carpeting and then mini-blinds.  We returned to see him the following Saturday and paid for the work.  Although I had my Angie's List ad for Felikians, offering no sales tax, in my briefcase, Andre presented us with his written estimate and it already included the no tax offer.  We were pleased.
Andre called a few days later and said that they would be ready to install the carpeting and mini-blinds.  We delivered the keys to him and explained how to turn off the home's alarm.  On the day they arrived to install, our handyman, a trusted friend, was there to do other work.  He called me later to tell me how professional, efficient and friendly the installers were.
When we visited the property a few days later, we inspected everything and were amazed at the qu ality of the products and the work as performed.  Andre and Felikian's Carpeting are outstanding!
