"The technician listened to the loud humming sound which was coming from the pipes whenever we ran the faucets or flushed the toilets.  He immediately identified the problem and I gave him permission to work on the broken PRV pressure valve.  His assistant replaced the valve, reset the PSI to 60 (it was running at twice the rate), replaced the pipe on the main water unit out front, and put new insulation around it. The humming has stopped and the pipes seem to be working well.
